I was a small but scrappy kid, got into a lot of fights because of my short temper, usually for some stupid reason. My parents mostly let me do my own thing but were suitably stern when I got into trouble.
Grew up in a Massachusetts suburb near Boston Harbor. Spent summers on my dad's small boat, my favorite part of which was visiting the forests out on the Harbor's islands.
I've always loved gardening/cooking, and I currently run a sandwich shop which I'm pretty ok with.
