I think the name is going to be Delta Emerald Z or Zeta Emerald. I feel Gamefreak is gonna make a combination game for kalos/hoenn to be completely unexpected just like they did with black/white 2. No battle froniter but hinting at in the future and episode Delta with Delta Emerald trademarked just hints too much at the third game in a generation being remade for the first time. With the fact that this gen has only one more placeholder for a game after ORAS (last i checked this is true from datamining X/Y), I think the combination game is most plausible.

Actually, I don't think you have to use Pokemon. Infinity Energy is harnessed for primal reversion. The Blue Orb and Red Orbs both harness Infinity Energy for the sake of Primal Reversion.

no, Mega Evolution is something different. Mega Stones are imbued with the power of the ultimate weapon, but they need to respond to the human and pokemon's bond before they trigger.
Mind you, there's some connection between them and infinite energy by way of the Ultimate Weapon, but it's not something that can be channeled independently like Primal Reversion and, theoretically, the power of stones.
Perhaps Mega Evolution calls on the infinite energy in both human and Pokemon in its process

The Sundial apparently has some connection to the Mega evolution, and if we are to believe that Ultimate Weapon did create Mega Stones and Deoxys and that that's where the origins for Infinity Energy come from, and also that Team E and this team here is Devon Corp., was that them looking into expanding and further developing the technology?
They might have also been looking for the Ultimate Weapon trying to reverse engineer Infinity Energy to its earliest and purest form and simply mistook the Sundial for it.
I really hope GameFreak doesn't drop the ball on this like they did on Original Dragon.

So my memory is fuzzy since it's been awhile but who exactly built the battle tower/frontier again? Because if it was the Devon corp then we've got the deepest lore.
Because this would mean in the original R/S/E the Devon corp wasn't harvesting pokemon energy using Team E(who didn't exist) because the mega stones didn't exist, and in turn things played out normally including battle tower/frontier being built. Then in this spin off universe the Devon corp formed Team E because the mega stones existed, and in turn delayed the battle tower frontier being built?

Each little different action that could happen creates another universe.
The multiverse is just an explanation for why Hoopa is able to grab legendaries and throw them at you without ruining the canon set so far.

That battle facility, Battle Tower which is then expanded into Battle Frontier was the idea of the Chatelaines, they were Hoenn born but are going for Kalos to take care of the Maison over there. Now, to replace the old Maison in Hoenn, they asked (I assumed) Scott to scout for potential heads for those new facility.

I've always looked at is as just a reboot. The old versions become obsolete and the remakes override them in the continuity, but the multiverse being what it is, they still exist in some capacity.
