Well it's in collaboration with a video game magazine so almost certainly a game. And they're making a big deal out of it, so probably something actually important. Pokken Fighters is the first thing that comes to mind.

Supposedly the Japanese word used just means "surprising" and doesn't have the electricity pun to it.

I'm thinking Pokken Fighters. The announcement is pretty hyped up and I imagine a Pokemon fighting game would garner more interest than another Pikachu spin-off.

There really isn't any electricity pun.

Pokemon x Youkai Watch

It makes perfect sense. It would get a big sales boost in Japan from Youkai Watch's massive fad popularity there. When it's inevitably brought overseas, people will buy it because of the association with Pokemon, providing Youkai Watch with international exposure and a potential launching point for future YW localizations.

Remember, we got Pokemon x Nobunaga's Ambition and Ace Attorney x Professor Layton. It could happen.
