This is my loadout:
M1 - Relentless Strikes, builder/filler. Use when nothing else is up.
M2 - Rampage, Priority 1 main damage.
M3 - Kick. Interrupt stuff with a boot in the dick.
Q - Breaching Strikes. Tier it up and it becomes godlike. Remember that your innate kills its CD so you can pop it twice in a row if it doesn't reset automatically.
E - Savage Strike. Use when A) Nothing else is up and B) Your T4+ Rampage has 3+ seconds of CD left
1 - Smackdown. PRIORITY 1. You do so much more damage with the debuff on things.
2 - Wildcard. Defense Matrix, Flashbang for an extra interrupt, Tremor if you want to use it, etc.
3 - Grapple. Interrupt stuff by yanking it on the dick.

My loadout's mostly the same, though I've been carrying whirlwind instead of smackdown on the off chance I needed to deal with a lot of mobs at once. There hasn't been much call for it, since every other skill I'm using has such good AoE, so I'll probably just replace it, either with smackdown for that choice debuff, or maybe leap to get some mobility and initial rage.

also when there is just crap tons of burst damage to the whole group while also moving I just feel helpless once I've expended my innate and fixate. Soothe just doesn't feel like enough, and seems rare for people to be grouped up enough for it to hit more than 2 or so.

I ended up rerolling an esper healer and I am still struggling in veteran dungeons.

Wildstar was marketed as 'WoW 2.0' as in this was supposed to be -the- MMO to play after you got sick of WoW. It was supposed to be polished, have great movement, have a lot of familiar feeling systems to WoW but add in new combat, and a rad housing system. Also it was supposed to have attunements and 40 man raiding and 40v40 customizable battlegrounds to call-back to the old days of WoW. It failed on some of these, succeeded on others and here we are today. The game deserves to be more popular but by no means was this going to going kill WoW, at best it would play 2nd fiddle next to FFXIV for title of "That game that's kinda like WoW but not really, but goddamn those (insert race here) girls turn my dick to diamonds"

I can't solo Adventures and this new one; I have no idea what I'm suppose to do or how to place my troops and I dont even think I can solo this one like I couldn't solo the 25 one

Me too. If you're new you might fuck up with stats like those, the problem is there's no real failure buffer there. If they're that geared and the rest of the group is too, it's going to be hard...Which is fine. It's supposed to be hard. Everyone is supposed to have shitty stats like that doing it the first time.
Engineers in particular have so many CDs they'll be fine anyway.

And you both wiped for 2+ hours, and the dungeon got a few people some gear, as it should be. But people who queue into shit like that only end up ruining groups because if you're not queueing with your guild or close friends in a 5 stack then you're ruining the game for 1-4 other people.
I fucking hated getting put into "guild runs" with 3 people who were unskilled, ungeared, and wouldn't listen to instructions then say "Sorry you're in OUR guild run, so we're calling the shots here".
If people wanna be undergeared they have to expect to have some people telling them what to change, and they have to take it well rather than cutting their wrists about it. If you're slotting Fire and Water and Air slots on a tank then you're doing it wrong, people need to understand that being told to reroll a rune slot isn't going to kill them, it's going to help them actually play the game properly.
But this is that generation of people who flip over the fact that guides exist with excuses like "The meta is just a word and an idea, you can't tell me I have to get Critical Mitigation, I do what I want".

At the point when you have i70 - From whatever, runes or not honestly - You're ready for vet dungeons. You are going to have to be on your ass to make sure you don't fuck up the red stuff, but that's true of any item level in the 70-80 range. At that point you aren't getting carried and you aren't holding your group back, you're simply ready for the content.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with telling people how to get better, or what they should slot for runes, it's good advice. There isn't enough good advice about Wildstar on the entirety of the web. That said, the shitposting in this thread wasn't advice. There was a general "you want this much crit mit" before it devolved into "WOW stop playing anytime". Fuck off if you ride that as your high horse.
But, people who think everyone should idealize their current gear before going into vet dungeons are being assholes. If you don't like queueing and getting groups of "just barely" geared people in your dungeons, don't do randoms. Group with people who meet your standards. The same can be said for the 'undergeared' people - If you don't like getting kicked out of groups for just making the cut, then group with guildies and friends who are at the same level.
I would much rather be grouped with some i68 shitter than some i100 one who sits at the entrance and waits to be kicked because the healer can't carry him standing in red stuff (because not moving is the most DPS, yes I've seen this).
