New Player here with hopes of getting some info of sorts?
I just started playing I wanted to be Ranged DPS and did research (which I think is up to date) and apparently Assault Medic is top or semi-top of the Range DPS for Wildstar.
My only worry is, when I do do Dungeons and end-game that I'll just be the Heal Medic when they can't find a fucking healer. I understand I can heal a little bit for the group (i've been reading up on Ass Medic Roles) but I'd like to focus on doing damage.
Right now I'm a Lv 18 Medic on the Exile side.
My other question is, even though I've read the pastebin I want to know what Job/Profession I should tackle for a new player. I decided on Settler, Armorer/Survalist but I haven't done really anything with them.
I have been having issues with Settlers and a few of the Caches one is in Gallow Cave and I can't get the blasted thing. Restarting and Reloading my UI doesn't fucking work at all.
Lastly, is there anything else I can do to help my Graphics Card? I don't want to set eveything to Low because I like how the game looks (I know buy a new Computer) but I don't have the funds for one. I did however follow the pastebin and download ForgeUI to help improve it and holy shit did it but I can these horrible hang ups and the FPS just drops to around 1 to 10, especially in the main Exile city.

For some adventures you don't always necessarily need to have the typical tank/healer/3DPS trinity going. They tend to be shorter, easier to complete, usually have multiple choices as to where to go or what route to take.
Dungeons on the other hand are more traditional, require higher ilvl, and give bette rewards. However, adventures are no longer required for attunement at this point in time.

Since every class has a secondary role, you'd have that issue no matter what class you went.
Paths are mostly meaningless. They offer pretty settler and scientist offer some minor bonuses like a summonable vendor, or summoning your party to you, but othewise just focus on what you'd think would be most fun.
For crafts, Everything I've heard is that you should ignore the crafting ones until you hit 50, and double up on gatherers.
For the caches, they're kinda wonky. Sometimes they don't show up on the map. What you need to do is go to the area where the quest tracker is pointing you and mash g while wandering around a bit.

If Carbon or Wildstar Developer is in here; you should be doing advertisment and marketing when Rachet & Clank, and Zootopia come out because the style of this game is much like Insomniac games with their games and Jak and Dexter.

it's actually a good idea to dump them all there anyway because it's virtually impossible to get grove rep unless the T3 keeps being that stupid world event. there's 1-2 daily quests there per day and they give almost no rep, it's fucking awful
only Star-Comm is worse, because at least the 1-2 blighthaven dailies don't take long. star-comm takes like 15-30 minutes (depending on how shit your gear is) and gives fucking no rep at all, and if you play at a dead hour you wont get the 5 man quests done either. i fucking hate star comm.
