I think the Dominion suffers from Horde/Alliance syndrome. The normies seem to not want to be the "bad guys", and honestly, most of the Carbine media/trailers/art/etc. seem to favor the Exiles. It is because this game is trying to be a pulpy 90's action cartoon show. Everything about the aesthetics are exaggerated, these fucking trees are the most tree looking trees you'll ever see, goddamn these rocks aren't just 'rocks' they're ROCKS. We have female aliens? Well lets make sure you can tell that they're female by giving them tits that you can see all the way from farside. I mean if you eliminate the body sliders male humans look like pro wrestlers and female humans look like jessica rabbit. It's all in the art style. Tanks are still the most needed, but there's more of them than there was. I think people are wising up to that tanks are needed in MMOs. I've had a lot of waits as a tank for a healer, recently, or funnily enough, for a DPS - Though that's only when leveling. At endgame tanks are almost always instant.

In Datascape the only tank that is innately bad is Stalkers. The Warrior tank in my group takes the same amount of damage as me and the Stalker takes around 50% more damage than both of us.
The three tanks are so interchangeable now that once Stalker gets retuned you can play any of them. But for now Stalker is some of the worst garbage because of armor changes, a higher focus on long cool down mitigation abilities and the changes to tank healing that they are on such a lower level than the tanks it's almost laughable.
