I crafted Malygos and Edwin last week because I'd rather have fun than play the same boring and gimped decks against the same boring decks for TWO MORE MONTHS.
I can either spend gold on new packs or buy that 40 pack bundle when the new stuff comes out.
Honestly everyone has enough time to grind out at least 2k from now till the expansion. Most players already have more than that amount saved so why not craft something they can enjoy now?
Unless you're brand new, have 0 gold AND are a poorfag you can craft shit now, get 20-40+ Old God packs on release day and not have to hold on to every last dust like a jew.

Wizards has said multiple times that they don't test for Modern and eternal formats. The card pool is simply way too big. They control those formats with bans.
Right now, there is literally no single card that is causing huge problems in Standard, and this particular Standard isn't even very good.
Eldrazi in Modern isn't really a fault of the design team; if they designed around Modern we would miss out on a lot of playable cards because the format is simply too wide.
There's nothing wrong with Miracles in Legacy; it's a perfectly reasonable and healthy deck that is powerful but doesn't overly dominate the meta.
Just admit it. Team 5 is completely incompetent and cannot seem to manage their game for shit. There's no excuse for fucking up this many times. I would allow them one, maybe two mistakes in this short of a time period since the game came out of beta but in a short two years they've fucked up more often that Wizards has in 23 years.

then hit a wall and climbed to 5 with tempo mage
play like face hunter early and then switch to freeze mage mode
keep oracles and strong minions
never waste burn as removal except for taunts when you have a minion ready to attack
never play ice block until you're dead otherwise or have 2 in hand because you really want to cheat one with scientist and then play the other when the first one is popped

Some Chinese company actually printed Hearthstone back before Naxx and it was a total clusterfuck. You needed to use a ton of tokens to represent stat changes, taunt, silence, etc.
Also cards like Esportal and the Shredder family would be impossible to implement since they often generate cards the player probably doesn't own. Then there's the cards like Ambush and Excavated Evil that shuffle stuff into the opponents deck.
It would turn into a shitshow with so many cards and tokens on the table.
Also dealing with stack order would be a total pain in the ass (See Scientist and Drakenoid Crusher, Sacred Trial and Boom, etc).
Making it digital removes all that headache due to the sleek interface and the program dealing with all that junk under the hood. Plus it stays relatively cheap this way. You can get a solid collection for $200 and be able to play dozens of different decks as opposed to say, Magic, where one single competitive deck might cost that much or more.

Most hearthstone decks are "play your shit on curve and trade in a way that makes your minion survive if possible".
Oil is one of the few exceptions, but magic requires more thought just because of the fact that the defender assigns blocking creatures. Also the way more complicated effects on some magic cards compared to the simple mechanics in hearthstone. I don't prefer magic over hs, but you don't know much about either magic or hearthstone if you think any hearthstone deck, including oil, is more complicated than high end decks in magic.

To add to why I believe nothing works against them:

Stealing an ice block cucks freeze mage burst, stealing an explosive trap kills a face hunters board. Apart from mirror entity doomsayer there's no downside to stealing a secret. My thought process is that the core structures of the game (gameplay mechanics, variety, etc.) are fun, the style/music/other aesthetic things are fun, Brawls are usually pretty fun, and doing quests feels like a good investment. Right off the bat I can say you don't need cards like Stormpike Commando and Imp Master in your deck because those are bad cards.
You might also want to consider running 2 copies of a lot of cards in your deck for consistency.
Since this is a basic deck from the looks of it you don't need things like Cone of Cold or Mirror Entity because those are more control cards. Consider adding more minions and just having "burn" cards like Fireball and Frostbolt in there with 1-2 AoE like Flamestrike like you already have.

How much dust do you have? Craft some water elementals and some freeze cards like first nova, ice lance, cone of cold. Maybe Ice Barrier too.
Start running 2x cards. Two Fireballs, Polymorph, freezes, Sorcerers Apprentice, Mana Wyrm, Piloted Shredder, Arcane Intellect, etc. You only run 1 offs if you play a Reno deck.
For the love of God google Budget Mage decks. And look up lists on Hearthpwn.
Mage has enough good class cards that you can run a cheap deck up to rank 10-15. All the cards I mentioned are Common or Class so they're either 40 dust each to craft or free.
If you're new look up all the hidden quests. You should be able to make 700g from them. Do your daily quests and reroll if you get a 40g one.
If you like the game, buy League of Explorers. $20 for 45 guaranteed cards and good shit like Animated Armor, and Ethereal Conjurer, Jeweled Scarab and Tomb Spider that let you Discover excellent cards you don't own yet and give you the flexibility to respond to each match differently.

My observation is that whoever controls the field when Raf gets the third staff wins. If Raf doesn't get the third staff he auto loses. One way or another TK's resurrection pool gets muddied and becomes terrible in the late game and if he doesn't have that board control he won't get it back because he has no board clears and Raf's legendary and extra card draw start rolling over his momentum. But if Raf can't get that super staff and keep the board clean he's fucked.
Imo Raf is easier so long as you get that full staff. Clear the board once and win. TK on the other hand needs to keep board control and momentum at all times.
I haven't played since the release of TGT. at the moment I'm watching fat trump play constructed with one of every card, is this some sort of a new strategy I may have missed?

Also who even thought Reno was a good idea? The classes that usually run him have enough removal and threats that running singles doesn't negatively affect them. Renolock basically negates the downside of Life Tap on top of Brann Healbot.
Then you get garbage like Echo Reno or Brewmaster to turn an already long match into a raid boss fight. I had to do over 100 damage to a Mage who duped Reno and ran two Ice Blocks. Winning after that doesn't even feel rewarding, just exhausting.
Matches now either end by turn 6-7 or go into Fatigue. Middle of the road decks are pretty much ded.
