I've found that there's a decent game in there (maybe a great one even), dragged down by a ton of questionable design choices.
Takaki wanted to have his cake and eat it as well. The game either should've been made for the PS4 so it wouldn't have been limited by the hardware or they should've culled a ton of features and focus on what did work. Simply taking away the girls' requests would've done a lot to improve the game.

I just found out something really terrifying.
The girl in Freedom Wars Sector 6 who removes mods, the mods don't actually get removed.
For example, if your Weapon has Carryable Ammo Up XL, and you choose to remove it, it will still remain in your weapon, it's just invisible.
If you take your new weapon into battle, if will still act as if it had Carryable Ammo Up XL applied to it.
You need to actually mod your weapon another time, or level up the Weapon to make the mod remove from the weapon for real.
So with this in mind, it would be advisable to level up the weapon as the final step in the weapon creation process. Just in case you want 1 or 2 red mods removed.
