So I want to import some Asian English only physical copies and I'm wondering if anyone knows how Heavy-Arm operates. Someone on /v/ told me that if you ask them on either Twitter or e-mail they have a chance to restock the game you're asking for in a limited amount, is this the only way I have a chance at SSD, Oreshika, and Digimon Cyber Sleuth for example? I haven't really seen any copies on eBay or Amazon and the two or three I did cost like triple the usual prices. Play-Asia also stops stocking within a month or two.

Consider reading their descriptions to figure that out and go by what skills the weapons come with matches your preferences in playing. That may depend. There's a trophy for using a single type of weapon for 500 missions, so it might be faster to stick to one if you don't want to grind for that if you're interested in getting it.
Really, it might just fall under "what looks cool" if you don't mind lacking some skills or grinding for them later on. Inherit Skills have more abilities than ones you just tack on, so looking at them might be in your interest.

What are some differences between FW, GE and MH? I tried MH3U Demo on the 3DS a while ago but I didn't care for it much, but I'm willing to give it another shot. I'd only be getting GE for the Vita and everyone says it's more refined but I don't really know what that's supposed to mean.

I feel like MH is more barebones in regards to story and setting, but has the most diversity in weapon choices with there being 11 melee weapon classes and 3 ranged classes.
GE I feel like is a middle ground between setting/story and combat in terms of the focus of the game. I only played Burst on the PSP, but I feel like the combat had you changing your tactic on the fly more (since you could switch between ranged and melee in battle), but it wasn't a huge amount and you basically know exactly what you're getting into from the beginning. GE also has more player customization, which for me is a plus.
FW has the most customization (player, waifu/husbando, weapon), but I feel like has the least amount of combat diversity of the 3. Thorns were a good addition, but they offer little to change the direction of combat other than (enemy is down so beat it up, wall that is useless, and heal spot). Still they're nice and unique. Of the three I feel like Freedom Wars has the least amount of in your face grinding, but it's about equal or even more with the, in my opinion, game ruining upgrading system. FW also has the most unique setting, but I feel not enough was done with it. I do like FW Range combat quite a bit, but I feel like it's not very useful compared to ranged combat in MH and GE.
In my opinion, MH is the best because it provides exactly what I'm looking for. Giant or impractical weapons meant to kill shit that could you by looking at you. GE is 2nd because I like the setting and I like the customization. GE:R might rank higher due to more combat options. FW is 3rd because I feel like it did customization great, but everything else fell flat.
Not terribly far into Grand Kingdom yet, but pas tutorial, and have two squads at levels 8 and 5.
The games tutorials seem a bit vague about many things (possibly because I am grinding rather than progressing, and they are tied to certain stages), and the digital rulebook is a piece of shit that doesn't go into even half of the mechanics I'm finding out about. As a result, I'm still a tad iffy on how forming a treaty with a kingdom works, and what encompasses a war.
Is there a particular level that I should be before I involve myself in treaties and wars? Will my shitty units be bullied by superior detachments, or is it better to get in early on and reap the benefits? More importantly, is the faction choice primarily cosmetic, or are there actual benefits for choosing one the others?Fiel seems to be having some trouble, despite that high contract population.

I didn't know there was a cat friend you could customise that sounds fun. I didn't know there was much customisation for your hunter either, I thought there was just a set of preset looks or something. I guess haven't looked in to it too much yet.
By the sounds of it there doesn't seem to be much end game for MH which would be my concern. Though again I don't know much about it. From what I have looked up it looks like there's rare weapon drops and that's the end of it for weapon customisation which is something that has high value for me.

Well, that was an experience. Added those pics to not spoil anyone with seeing the trophies or something and because Phi is nice.
Well then, some minor thoughts about stuff in the game.The game started strong in my opinion, really liked it through to the end. But I think the pacing of the puzzles was a bit off, they should've maybe put some puzzle at the end. Puzzles themselves were good enough, didn't really need any help with almost any of them. I was stuck at one point though where you had to put that metal plate to somekind of machine. Didn't even try that since it looked like a microwawe so it didn't even come to mind to try that.
Best scene for me was probably that whole incinerator thing, no wonder they used that so much in the promo material.
But that ending, it was pretty dumb. I guess that was the reason why Q portrait in the status screen was messed up when everyone else were proper. And how is he so old and still in so good shape? What the fuck. And what happened to the original Phi that got sended to 1908, I think that transporter thing was supposed to work like fax or something, so there should've been the original too.
And the animations were a bit stiff, but I guess that's to be expected since the budget was so tight.
In the end, I enjoyed it very much still. I hope they release 999 on Vita so I can replay that too, should do the same for VLR too.
