Mess around in quickplay doing whatever until you feel comfortable with the movement and stuff. Play vs the AI if you really suck and need to practice. You'll never learn to aim if you play someone who doesn't need to, you just have to be okay with sucking for a short amount of time. Really not a lot to learn for aiming in this game.

Zarya is part of the newer generation and is younger than Pharah and Mercy, she was a little girl when the omnics first attacked. She's also fighting a war in Siberia that's called the second Omnic Crisis since that Omnium went rogue again. They killed everyone in her hometown. The main argument against omnics is that they could get hijacked by an AI or something and go killer robot mode.
They obviously want you to sympathize with certain omnics but the stance on them isn't black and white because of their programming going rogue as it has again in Siberia and apparently some other places we may not know about.

If there's tracers on 1 team but not on the other, the one without tracers eventually has to swap to tracer or winston to be able to get back to the point. If you die on a slow character like roadhog you'll lose before you make it back so you either pick tracer/winston/d.va or lose.
It's so fucking bad, most overtime games take FOREVER and it's just a constant stream of tracer/winston pushing onto the point then being hard to kill

understand what your optimal range is
if you are flanking people don't start shooting before you get to correct range. with good aim and correct range you can kill a 200 hp hero with 1 clip
ideally keep your aim locked at enemies neck. that way half the bullets go to the body and half to the head. if you aim at head (unless you are shooting at someone like winston from a feet away) a lot of your bullets will miss going above the head

Its damage is so low it's only a threat to people who overextend with 200 HP. You can literally walk through it with a tank hero. You can literally tank the damage with a biotic field up as S76. All you have to do is not be tracer.
Meanwhile Zenyatta's Q literally (not figuratively like you are saying) makes him invulnerable and figuratively makes his team invincible too with 200 HPS (300 soon). And while you can simply stand out of LOS from the stationary Torbjorn turret and be safe from his Q, you can't say the same about DIE DIE DIE or JUSTICE RAINS FROM ABOVE.

Overwatch is a very much team based game, you'll almost never win a battle if you're outnumbered unless you have a sneaky ult like Death Blossum. You need a full working team to win.
It should be based upon you're performance, not the outcome of the match.

If FPS drops below what you are used to, yes, it feels like input lag. 60hz is what most are used to and dropping below that feels weird. For the 144 crowd, 60 FPS is already too low.

you need some extra frames above your monitor hz as sort of a buffer so that you don't get a lot of input lag
that's why selecting "display based" fps limit caps your fps at your monitor hz+10 instead of exactly at your monitor hz
