Blizzard has been a terrible company for years now, but they regularly make games that fill niches.
People wanted a casual moba so they could feel like they're a part of that big LoL craze without actually learning even the most basic of game mechanics.
We got HotS.
The only digital card games out there were either MtG or trying hard to be Magic, so they scared away a lot of casuals.
And then Hearthstone.
TF2 has been dying, to the point that only a small percentage of its previously huge player base keep it alive.
Overwatch is to make up for the lack of TF3, and to make the games fast enough and without any real commitment (outside of the tacked on competitive mode which was clearly not supposed to be a main feature this early on) to ensure it grabs the casuals who thought TF2 was too hard to learn everything.

The sad thing is that Mei isn't even strong. She just stalls and slows things down in a game whose key selling point is that it's fast and the action doesn't stop, which makes her feel ungodly stupid in terms of design.
They should really rework her whole kit.
Her left click could do more damage and slow movement but not freeze entirely.
Replace her ice wall with a temporary ring of "fuck you its ice damage if you walk in this".

Primary attack interrupts the Discord animation now. Despite pressing E first, then holding LMB, the primary attack will fire before the red attack diamond even disappears. In total, the attack is launched 200 ms faster than it was before.
Before, the first primary attack would reach the target before the Discord orb reaches it. The discord orb appears in flight at pretty much exactly the same timing before and after, but the discord will now beat the first primary attack to the target. The total attack animation concludes 200 ms faster than it did before, as expected.

Man, there really are times when the fun just stops entirely in this game just because of certain characters. This fucking Widowmaker was being an asshole and was driving me fucking insane earlier so I switched to Winston just to end my suffering.
I wish this game wasn't so reliant on specific counters. There's always some faggot who plays Pharah and forces me to play Solider 76, or the fucking enemy team has like three tanks and then I have to play Reaper or else I'll lose.
