Have any of you come across cheaters yet? My team just got destroyed by a Reaper in Nepal, and my team claimed he was cheating. At first, I just thought they were being salty, but I watched the POTG and he was hitting every single shot center mass. He then got a card at the end for 73 elims on 86% accuracy. That seems suspicious as fuck. I checked his profile, and his accuracy is nowhere near as good as it was that game.
But then again, maybe he was just that good.

With the two new heros added to the game - Zen and Ana - and their damage increase mechanics, Tracer needs a small bullet spread (keyword: small) buff so she can do the same damage at slightly farther range to increase her relative safety without being 1 shotted like the robot monk used to be and become the worse Akali, i mean Genji.
As of right now in the PTR there is no reason to pick her when you can pick Genji.

Don't know if this is a confirmed thing or if I'm just coincidentally lucky: when I was playing in PTR, I pulled a legendary skin (forget what it was) when I hit level 96.
Just hit 96 in live and got another legendary in that box, though it's not the same as the one in PTR.
Since I can't remember the exact loot box comp from PTR I don't know if it was exactly the same colours, but do your PTR boxes roughly correlate to your live ones? If so, I'd be super happy since it means in another two levels I'll be getting another yellow.

I always boost ulting 76's over all else when I can. But what pisses me off is when people bitch at me for not boosting them during their ult when they didn't give me a heads up.
At the beginning of every match where I'm Mercy, I make the very simple request of "hey, let me know when you're about to use your ultimate so I can boost you, okay?"
But people nearly never fucking do it. Why. Literally just press 'C' and pick "my ultimate is charged!" so I can fucking help out. It takes less than a goddamn second.

Bastion needs his Turret mode Nerfed and his and his recon mode buffed.
At the moment he is too powerful at lower MMR and to weak at higher MMR. He does have a ridiculous TTK and while competent players can deal with him now, at lower levels he is pretty much unbeatable if there is a Rein Guarding him. Hell, with a team hanging close to him is pretty darn hard to crack a Bastion hold without some really good co-ordination.

Economizing time is a super important thing. I started taking economics and Business Administration (I run my own business so I figured this would be a good thing to major in) courses in University and it fucked up my entire way of thinking, because everything now is "opportunity cost"
If you shave off that 30 seconds, it means that match, and every other match, is taking 30 seconds less, which means 30 seconds earlier players will be pumped back into the match making to find a match, which means the same people will be back in match making sooner and more often, which in reality increases the amount of people available FOR match making.
By having that 30 seconds of dead time in the prep phase where everyone is just running through an empty map - it's just a waste as it's not contributing to the match, the outcome, and it's time not spend in match match making.
Hell on KOTH you could shave it to 15 seconds from 30, which would also have the same effect. By the time people are in Comp they should already know the maps and what heroes they are going to select.
It doesn't sound like it would have much of an effect, but if every single person in competition is going to be hitting match making more often in the same amount of play time - it adds up.

First is that Blizzard took a lesson from Diablo, and fudges random numbers in your favor of getting cool shit in a certain way. How that exists in Overwatch im not entirely sure, but they have a history of not being 100% random, since it would such to never get anything good - as statistical improbability but a possibility all the same.
Now, for how they handle it. No clue. They did say lootbox contents are generated at the time of acquisition. Maybe lootbox tiers are generated in advance to ensure a good spread (maybe the RNG is set in stone for the next 10 boxes so the game can adjust what you are getting?

They have a bubble skill. The bubble has 450HP. You have to turn it on, but you can keep it on the entire match. The bubble doesn't just leave after 2 seconds or something. Theoretically, you could keep the bubble up the entire match, assuming no one destroyed it.
But you don't want to. Your damage output is halved, if not more, when you have the bubble up. But when you're out of the bubble, you do outrageous mid-range and close-range DPS. You're fucking ridiculous out of your bubble. But you also die when coughed at.
And maybe a very long cooldown for putting the bubble back up after either it gets destroyed or you take it down yourself? To prevent "run in, kill a guy, bubble and leave"
Also, the bubble doesn't block stuff like Winston and Symettra's guns.

Most of the maps have some context to them.
Anubis is the facility that houses one of the captured "God AIs" from the Omnic Wars where Pharah worked as security.
Hanamura is the home of clan Shimada and is where Genji and Hanzo fought in the animation.
Nepal is the monastery that Zenyatta is from, and where he trained Genji.
Illios, Shanghai and Voskaya don't seem to have much story in them. Though I guess Voskaya does show some background on the Russia v Omnic war that is still going on.

The game really doesn't have enough bad guys. It's really bizarre to me too, because they've set up Blackwatch and Talon as these evil organisations so they've plenty to work with and then we've just got Reaper and Widow.

On defense. I'd say 66 is the best map for her, she's useful on all three stages surprisingly.
I've also found she's pretty good on attacking the first point of Hanamura, the orbs put a lot of pressure on the gate which is usually occupied by enemy tanks and you can easily put a teleporter right at the frontlines to save a good 10 seconds of walk back time.
On most maps she is useful at defending the first point but even then hardly worth picking.

Reaper is a bad pick when their team comp doesn't match up favourably for him - ie, no tanks and lots of characters that generally outrange him.
That said, if they've got no tanks they're probably losing anyway and if your Reaper pick is deterring them from swapping/you're still able to cause havoc by flanking effectively and pick off high priority squishies like Mercy and Lucio, you can still do fine there too.

As far as killing goes, yes. Overall survivability, no. Lucio can simply evade situations that Mercy needs to use the gun for. That being said his weapon is awkward and takes getting used to, I wish he had a pistol like Mercy even now. I actually don't like Reinhardt. Something about his helmet, shoulders, and general shape doesn't do it for me and looks ugly. He's one of my favorite characters on character alone though.

Everytime a map starts I go in front because I know there'll be a Junkrat/Hanzo/Rein to give me 50% charge, then spend the rest of the map shielding teammates for MAXIMUM CHARGE

for goodness sake don't stack six turrets in the same place, they'll be destroyed in an instant, Place at most two in a similar spot, spread out a bit, and above melee range. Two in another spot people may try to hide in. Two near the room you put your teleporter in. Like the other guys, if the first checkpoint in your game gets broken through you may want to switch a bit later. Usually the teleporter resets, cashing in based on how much charge it had left, and you can leave it on a point again, after that is spent, switch to someone else. Don't switch if you die while the teleporter's up or else it'll disappear.

No one ever realizes they're being damaged because it's too much of a high traffic area. Symmetra is a shit tier hero but Hanamura point A is her bread and butter.
On point A you can also put turrets outside the open windows that will damage people on the inside, they can't shoot them down because invisible walls but the turrets can put just enough damage for them to get distracted from taking the point.
Car wash death rooms are easily destroyed, either a Winston that just tickles them all down in a split second or a flanker like Genji/tracer to pick them off
