As far as I know, the only source is the leveling bag and it's soulbound the second you open it.
I'd submit a bug report or post on the forums or something, because it feels like that should really be included with the boost - especially because they've made an effort to include other items gained over the course of leveling.

The quest to buy the title was there when F2P came out but you usually got it in the wild at level 10, it just showed you what the store was, cost one monibit, I think it worked. You can also skip it in the tutorial.

PVP can be a clusterfuck of red but you can do the side objectives if the middle is a deathzone...I haven't pvped much personally
It's true that just exploring won't level you to max. But you can choose the Explorer path to get a lot of side content you might enjoy along with the main track
It might be ded yes, if I spent anything on this game I might care but it's free, all you're investing is time, and if you enjoy it it's not wasted. Plus they just implemented xfaction queues so the dedness is somewhat less

That's borderline impossible. The most manual avoidance you can do is predicting when someone is about to fire off a charged attack and dodge at the last second to make them miss.
It's more about stat based mitigation and CC management. There's no way to just not take damage at all by playing super well, but good play will definitely help prevent you from dying.

I can understand people wanting that bit of sandbox MMO gameplay, but Wildstar is a themepark MMO through and through.
The paths are there as a way to break up the core class based gameplay instead of replace it.

Blighthaven and The Defile have world story quests that are important to the lore of the game and understanding Drusera / The Entity. Though there's a large chunk of Blighthaven that will require a 4-5 player group to complete. ALL the daily faction reps offer either an AMP or Ability Point on hitting max reputation. Which is something to consider if you're strapped for cash.
Also, you can complete contracts in literally any size group, and in any instance. So take those and work on them when you can.

Depends on the content. On easy content, probably medic. Hold down emission and call it a day. On harder content where you and the tank are both moving, probably esper. Poor reaction time is kinda shit for a healer in any case, though.
