Oblivion refuses to display all shaders.
There are no lighting effects, there are no roads, there are no falling leaves, etc. The entire game is just bland polygons with bare textures, no mapping either.
It probably relates to the game not recognizing my (integrated) videocard. But it SHOULD run fine, I can run Skyrim (uncomfortably) with a fluctuating framerate of 25-30 per second.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which is faster than the GPU in my old desktop that I previously used to play Oblivion (because it was the only computer I owned with a DVD drive).

Had a little Enderal adventure last night, so I'm going to post a little bit.
After some pretty important and horrible stuff went down, I was tasked with retrieving a few gizmos to help build the finishing touches of an airship. The first half I completed quickly, because they were practically next door. The second half was hidden away in some mountain region and I had no idea how to get there, so I explored the nearby area until I found a passage that would lead me to where I needed to be.

The path opened up to overgrown ruins. Very stark contrast to the golden forest I was in not long ago, and the green crystals growing everywhere made me wonder whether I should be worried about my arcane fever.

These ruins piqued my interest for some reason. It wasn't too far off the path, but I felt a little investigation was warranted nonetheless. The only thing that really made me worry was whether any traps or magic runes were hidden in the grass, but fortunately none that I could find.
Ghosts and skeletons were lingering further inside, but more interesting to me were these fellows. Locked in place, I could only wonder what was going on here, or what those bony growths in their heads were.

After dispatching the remaining ghost mages and skeleton archers, I revisited the scene. For the relatively eerie atmosphere surrounding the region, they looked like they had a really good time.
I also started appreciating my flame familiar more. Its quick attacks and flame aura has been more helpful than my other elemental summons or undead abomination, especially against mage enemies.

Investigating further into the ruins I was met with only more ghosts, will-o-wisps, and skeletons. In the cellars I encountered an undead abomination and a lich, who were dispatched with relative ease, and was rewarded with a piece of an armor set. There was not much else to find here, other than this fellow. I feel like no questions were answered in my brief visit here.
Out here, even the statues are skeletons. I grow more confused. Approaching it worsened my arcane fever, so I decided not to question it and move on.
Following the road once more I came by an abandoned village. Perhaps 'abandoned' was the wrong word, as its inhabitants never left. This felt entirely inappropriate and a bit silly.

Leaving the village behind us I traveled to where I thought my objective would be, and was met with totally-not-forsworn. Walking among them was this giant, who hadn't engaged in battle. I was unsure what to expect, but remained cautious and approached slowly.

The patch was littered with wildmen, who were fierce and tough. Fortunately I had gathered enough magic equipment to empower my spells to match their assaults. The flaming familiar fell and rose again several times, chipping away at their defenses while I struck with fire and lightning.
Battling through several of their camps, I finally arrived at a great bridge leading towards a great structure with a curious light inside. 'This must be it', I thought. 'This must be what I'm looking for'.
when installing mods what exactly am i looking for when going through the opening cart sequence? nothing looks out of place but i want to make sure there is no super obscure shit i should watch out for
