1 hero limit is required to keep comp balanced but at the same time it does open up the door for trolling and for shitters to ruin games.
Even in the 70+ rank range I've had a number of games where we needed a reaper to counter the enemy team and the person on our team playing it completely sucked, the only way to fix this was to have someone else switch and do the job for him. I can see the limit messing with a lot of teams especially in the lower ranks where someone could pick a support and just throw the game because of them being awful and no one being able to pick that class.

If you're playing Symmetra after the first point, you're a useless fuck. Switch to Lucio after that (you should already have a Mercy and if you don't, then you're a faggot for picking Symmetra instead of her). Alternatively another tank or att hero.
Unless you got a pocket Mercy, put Pharah aside. Pharah isn't weak, but she ain't no Tracer. If you get good with Tracer and Tracer hasn't been nerfed to fuck on the PTR, she's the most broken Solo queue character you can play right now. Also acceptable is Soldier 76, who isn't as broken but still strong as fuck solo.
