What you need is autistic levels of patience to be really good in this game, be it side climbing or camping in a bush on the border of the map.
Map knowledge and patience is ALL you need to be good at tanks.
For planes you can just pick a boom n zoomer, side climb until you're higher than the enemy and then boom until you catch someone off guard.
For planes, you just need patience and learn how to aim.

You would, The turret and LFP are your options and almost never do they one hit, but rest assured if they get one shot on you you'll be dead instantly.
In some cases against the premium Tiger (H) you can one shot through the mg port because of the ammo at the back likewise with the king.
But still they have they can one hit you anywhere, while you have to aim for a tiny mg port or their LFP which is easy to cover.
God forbid a tiger II driver attacks with his gunner port hidden because a right cheek hit is basically worthless, you knock out the loader and that's it.

Basically the same happened with all Yaks. My VK is now struggling to outturn anything that isn't a 190, and I've yet to see a 190 pilot retarded enough to turnfight.
One thing I've noted, is that the turn radius nerf did not affect Yak 15s or 17s. These can now outturn a 3 VK.
The VK still retains its most important feature that is energy generation, but 1v1s are quite tricky when BnZ is hardly viable, and turnfighting usually requires landing flaps.
