The citadel has almost completed its final upgrade task, the penguin statue. We only have 10k stone left to contribute, and I bet all of the minions summoned and stone mined will be enough to finish it.

While they were knocked down still poisoned if you used weapon poison it while killing it would sometimes turn the golem into bones.
Now they will no longer turn into bones and can't be actually killed, so they will just be knocked out and get back up after a few seconds like they were intended to.

I have overloads and anguish.
I start the fight, use sacrifice and tuskas wrath, by the time snipe is firing, i cancel it and use snapshot.
For phase 2/3 I just switch between snapshot/rapidfire/bombardment. By phase 4 I have 100% adren, so I use unload to finish the phase quick.

you can get the construction XP but there is only one real milestone and that is the gilded altar in the 70's (but you can use a friend's). it's an expensive skill that doesn't do much at all

I think you can earn money with smithing right now since claws are needed for invention and all ores bar runite are apparently crashing.
Useful buyables are stuff like herby or prayer.
Construction is only really useful for the guided altar and if you make tea + use oldschool style crystal saw + statue chisel you can boost level a ton.

Both OSRS and proper runegame have bonds, and I think their currency is hyperinflated due to lack of goldsinks.

Fucking tutorial island was the first and last "good" tutorial. Not even being a nostalgiafag, it's just that every tutorial they've tried to make afterwards missed the point. Just give the player a general idea of how to interact with the world around them. No story, no extra bullshit.
Also while the customizable interface is great if you know what you're doing, it's probably going to frustrate new players. I thought they'd start players off with the legacy interface at least. Guess not.
Combat SHOULD start off full manual, because there are so few abilities you start with it can't possible be complicated. Just use whatever abilities you can as often as possible. As you level up and unlock more stuff, it gets more complex. Then you can go to the combat academy and figure it out.
