Tip for hack users: You can go to 1.1.2 and get free readiness tokens (the things you get after training) for Black Cat. Just "buy" shitloads, then go back the current legit version. Now you can spam Black Cat at Doc Ock every minute for as long as you like. You can beat him with only 1 remote (and get that remote for free, incidentally).

Why did they make Spider-Ham so useful in this event? Nebula and Yondu were useful the weeks they popped and didn't really become useful again until the Ronan fight. I recommended it before but Future Fight is pretty good if you're looking for another Marvel Game. It's gameplay is rather good with every character being pretty easy to acquire and having a unique move set, although the story is bleh at best.
Pokemon Go is currently a popular option, though it's only a game in the broadest sense of the word.
Of Course I'd be remiss if I didn't mention "My Boy! Free" which is a gameboy advance emulator.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper is also a decent game, though not that exciting.

As the other Anon said, emulators are good. PPSSPP and SNES9x EX+ are two good starting points - and with the RPG theme of this post, there are loads of great RPGs on those platforms.

I think it's actually funny. Even IAP people aren't going to be getting most of the shit. Hell, I accelerated getting black cat by about a day and a half with a shard move to bypass some of the fuel/ wanted poster/ lockpick crap, and that didn't get me a single additional lizard win.
Right now, even if I had unlimited fuel, I'm still mathematically eliminated from getting MJ by the end of this game week. And I'm a dude with OCD and an unlimited data plan.
I think it's hurt tinyco's brand enough that I'm more likely to trust world champion ass reamers like EA with my IAP money than them.

So the latest AG hack gives you those two glamorous dresses for BW and Wasp as well as beachwear for Tony, Wasp and Loki, AND Wasp's spacesuit. Some other stuff I'm forgetting, too.

You say "playable" but the "gameplay" is clicking on a person to start a timer that you wait to pass so you can click on them again and start another timer. It's a glorified timer app on you phone; you're effectively just setting an 8h timer, then when the alarm sounds, setting another one.
By using a hack you're bypassing that shit and also bypassing any glitches TinyKike create. You're not exactly turning on God Mode in Dark Souls; it's more like getting DLC for free rather than paying for it.
If he's annoyed that he can't get MJ because of a glitch (and notably, that's not an intentional part of the "gameplay, conspiracy theories aside) then he can use a hack to get her and then return to regular "gameplay" afterwards.
