You didn't seriously think this would survive, did you?
wow pretty ded thats sad does nobody play it anymore or what?
What happened to justify this? Last time was for the wargame DLC.

why " justify " ?
>>148026717
I mean it sounds harsh but it's also reasonable. Wargame is, for the most part, kill. Loss of sim fags and arma fags killed it.

Because this general couldn't stay alive even at its peak, with many games being discussed. Now posters have definitely left and the last time this was revived it lasted for like 100 posts when the latest content came out. That's why I can't imagine a reason to ever try it again without something new to actually discuss.

steel ocean has like 400 active players and has a moderately active general

We should have been very active too, on paper, what with the amount of variety in situations that all the different wargames allow. Instead there was precious little discussion going on as we ended up knowing basically all there was to know, new players came to ask questions but didn't stay long after (most probably because the community in RD was one of the worst ones for new players). It didn't help that because of the nature of the games and the conflict they portray nationalistic shitposting came up whenever something in the game wasn't deemed "realistic", then there was the guy shitposting about what was and wasn't a wargame.
In the end, these games aren't likely to attract a good userbase for discussion, no wonder most multiplayer activity in the genre is done through arranged matches in forums between friends.

yeah thats true i guess kinda sad i would have liked a place to discuss decks and tactics but the steam discussions are cancer at best and the eugenforum is pretty dead too
Maybe he's excited for the steam sales and the incoming summer newbs
