Basically, every day of the week, one type of song earns you points. When you're in the "lives" section, there are four song types. Rainbow, Passion (Yellow border), Cute (Pink border), and Cool (Blue border). Each day, it's announced which type of song will earn you tokens. Get tokens, and you can trade them in for stuff, be it the event idols, or for items.

I don't see Mom, Nono, Yoshino or Sugar holding onto their places now that they've ranked high enough for voices. As that's two Cools and two Passions, that leaves the way open unless we get a bunch of more surprises like Sugar out of nowhere.
