if you're going proper roaming I'd recommend trying to get cruiser warp speed and reasonable agility if you're the only battleship so your fleet doesn't want to kill you

a disruptor is not adequate tackle, some guy can just MWD away successfully and because of his wicked speed you don't apply dick damage.
You have a MWD, you should have a scram so when you approach you have EFFECTIVE tackle. A disruptor doesn't disable someone from getting away entirely, it just means that within 28km of you (overheated) they're bound to that range whereas disabling a MWD is infinitely more valuable as it completely disables a fast ship's maneuverability. Its part of the reason why grapplers were created because otherwise tons of ships used to just hug and orbit at 500 knowing you couldn't do jack shit about it in terms of tracking.
