I just now beat BAW so I was on a witcher media blackout over spoilers, missed out on all the discussion. what's the general consensus on BAW vs HOS?

In short, BaW had a better world and side quests, HoS had a better story.

They were both still loved though and BaW in general was really massively hyped and got good ratings everywhere. Imo after HoS it was a bit of a let-down in the story department, but clearly I'm in the minority so meh.

I have to do a school project that consists solely of making a trailer for a book. I'm doing it about the Witcher books but i have no idea about what to make it. What kind of short story would you do /vg/?
>>
>>147942468
The ones involving Ciri, it really gives a super emotional response. And it has a happy ending in the short stories too!
>>
>>147943421
Hmn.. I planned on doing some sort of contract or something like in the cinematic trailers but that could work too
>>
>>147942468
Just do a fight between Geralt and three-person gang which hunts Yen and Ciri in Blood of The Elves, if I remember correctly. The head of the gang was "Professor", and Geralt cut them all to pieces and then said to the bartender "If ever you will see any comrades of these bandits asking about their fate... Then tell them they got bitten by a White Wolf"
>>
>>147939289
What's the general consensus on Enemy Scaling though? Is it recommended for a new player for a completionist playthrough?

>>147942468
I'd draw a few scenes in minimalistic style, then use a similar zooming effect and subtitles like the game does to create motion.
>>
>>147944204
fuck no. Leave that shit. The game is good without lvl scalling and I have no idea why actually they implemented it. It fucks the game in a few places - a LOT of people talk about stupid RATS being unbeatable on higher difficulty lvls. Also one guy had problems with Djinni when he was 7 lvls higher than the quest... And for me Djinni was fuckin' easy when I played without any lvl scalling.
>>
>>147944412
>The game is good without lvl scalling

Okay then. Any solution for the "underlevelled quest rewards" issue? I tend to play slowly and explore every single corner before advancing the main plot even further. It just feels natural to take a breath every once in a while instead of chasing some pre-defined goal like a maniac 24/7.
>>
>>147944412
they added it because people had been complaining about how easy it was to get overleveled and lose the challenge since release. honestly they should have just scrapped the whole concept in development and replaced it with proper scaling from the start that's tweaked not to screw the player over in stupid ways
>>
>>147944761
If you walk around and grind the game then why are you surprised that you get overleveled?

That happens, of course, but when I played it I did ALL the sidequests I could before main quests (mostly in order in which game tells you to - as you have quest lvl in your journal, I did lowest lvl sidequests first) and you know what? My challenge didnt dissapear. Bosses and unique monsters often were a challenge even if I was few lvls above them.
They were easier, of course, than if I would go to them being equal in lvl, but they still can kill you in few seconds if you arent careful.

And about weak rewards - well, just play further and be happy you have good equipment, you will find better one eventually, not every quest has to give you new best sword or armor, right?

This game is made in a way that your character is mostly a glass cannon. If you're good with dancing around, you can kill everything, it's just a matter of patience. But if you do it and break your own experience then you have only yourself to blame.
>>
>>147945703
same person, continuing:
Equipment system in this game is specific and I agree that it could be made other way. But as it is you will mostly have best equipment you can for your lvl and that's that. If you dont, something will drop quick. If you have - then you will find shit, as already you've got the best you can. It's just like that.

And about quests - it's made to give you a choice. You don't have to do everything to be able to finish the game. Sounds like common sense, right?

So that's the ,malus. If you DO everything, then you WILL get overleveled. It's that or that.

But seriously, I didnt notice being overleveled to be a serious problem which devoids the game of challenge.

Damn, I don't know how high lvl you have to be for the Arachasae to be easy enemies. They attack in horde, can immobilize you, poison you, and their attacks do a lot of damage.

Damn, in this game dogs can be serious threat.
>>

>>
>>147945703
>>147946430
>all these uncalled implications and unnecessary tone

Either way, thanks for the detailed posts. Maybe I should have worded better but grinding is not my thing, I merely do what feels natural and try to grab every opportunity to earn a little extra. I'm currently replaying W2 and comfortably finished both Floatsam and the area around the Camp in literally 3 in-game days each.

Sounds like I have nothing to be worried about in W3 though, despite the whining about certain issues here and there. And since I wanted to play it without absolutely any guide or tips or anything whatsoever, it was important to know that my time not going to be wasted by unfortunate game design. Again, thanks for the input!

Cliche: The Videogame

>>147948136
They would be more interesting if CDPR wouldnt change them. Their elite troops were called Red Riders - so no sauronese black typical villain armor. Also, Wild Hunt was an illusion which they used when they wanted to steal people for their experiments - humans were afraid of the army of undead galloping through the heavens, so there was no reaction.

In books they were only interested in more lebensraum for their kind and slaves. And they treated Ciri as their property, as she was effect of their own genetical experiments (which got fucked up when their special genetic lamb, Lara Dorren, gave her ass to filthy human)
>>
something about the crones questline just blows me away, their design alone is fucking stellar

now if only the antagonist was of this quality instead of wild hunt being scary space elfs

Just finished Witcher 3, what a fucking ride. Honestly the best game I have ever played, but now I feel empty inside.
Going to grab one of the expansions soon, should I go for HoS or just straight for B&W?
Also, any games to temporary fill the hole untill I get the DLC?
>>
>>147950202
Do HoS first, then B&W.

Which ending did you get?
>>
>>147950202
HoS first. I wozld say that it is arguably better written than the main quest of the base game. It's a quick 10 hour DLC with very memorable moments quests and characters. The main characters Olgierd von Everec and Gaunter O'Dimm are fantastically written. Also, B&W is supposed to be Geralt's last quest, so playing HoS first is mire logical

Did the books or games ever make you cry? If yes, which parts?
>>
If the Northern Kingdoms are supposed to be fictional poland, why are so many character and location names German?
>>
>>147949080
Sorry for the tone, I just have the feeling that people are trying to find a problem which I didnt feel at all when I played. And I really tried to do everything that's possible in this game, I am big fan of Witcher universe. And I'm rather a strict person, so if the game was bad or had problems I would be first shouting with anger about that. Like I shout a lot about Fallout 4. I loved old fallouts and DAMN I AM ANGRY about what bethesda made with this universe.

And when I'm thinking about overleveling this game... Well... I find it hardly possible. W3 does not give you experience for enemies (i think?), only for quests. And a lot of sidequests give a very symbolic exp rewards (like 8 points, while amount for next lvl is always 1000)... The biggest exp rewards are for main quests, they can give even a two or three lvls for one quest. depending on how powerful you already are.

>>
>>147951973
Actually nothing is based at all. The crest was made by CDPR and all Poland references are ours alone.
Sapkowski never said he based it on anything and never made any graphic material. I think he did describe Redania's coat of arms as eagle, but well, there's a lot of countries which have this animal in their crests and it does not mean it's exactly like Poland.

>>147951979
Yeah, Olgierd's old residence was pretty sad place. I felt for that ghost, damn.

>>147949080
You don't need any guide for playing it. Just get along for the ride. And don't get angry when you don't get the best possible outcome for everything - that's the game is about. It's not a modern rpg in which you cannot make any mistake - here you really CAN fuck things up if you dont think and listen - and that's were the fun is. Your first walkthrough does not have to be perfect.

There's no way you can make a game impossible to finish anyway, if you fuck something up someone will die, someone will suffer, but it does not block you in any way ever.
Choices will be hard and you will be in doubt, And that's exactly how it should be, DONT check the consequences on the internet before making decisions. You will be surprised and you will have fun.

>>147952106
great pic : D

>>147952535
That depends on you. Olgierd is not a moral person. He left his wife and made her suffer, and her only fault was that she loved him strongly. He killed and maimed and found fun in it. He was more interested in playing around than anything else.

>>147952886
Dont, you will freeze to death

>>147953258

Well, it's like in the books. Theyre about a monster hunter with scruples and philosophing a lot about how world is shitty and people are whoresons. Games are no different.

And yes, Witcher's are widely hated. Theyre a dying relict of ancient times, in which humans had to fight for every inch with monsters. Most people fear and despise them because theyre different and from ordinary folk' point of view insanely powerful.

it was clear after the first quest that its not the monsters sometimes who are the fiends but common mang some of those creatures can tear you apart in a split second
i mean sure sometimes men piss them off but making every other quest that way got tiring

not to mention rewardwise saving monsters was always the better option even if they slaughtered an entire village

somehow the concept of being a witcher (no emotions and shit) has gotten forgotten midgame
>>
>>147955701
Yeah, I didnt like Scoia'tael, but I still found it strange that Iorveth does not show his face.
>Fuck Iorveth, I want Isengrim Faolitiarna, who was called Iron Wolf. Shame he was killed for warcrimes in the books

Shani was just a one-time fuck in the books, just a student of medicine who was fascinated with our witcher. Also fucking her made Dandelion (who was her friend) confused and that's the only time i think in which Geralt outfucked his musical friend

And Dijkstra for my personal taste was made just fantastic. In the books he is shown as VERY inconspicuous person, and I think it's greatly visible in the game, as he surprises you a lot with his knowledge and keen thinking.
Still, the part in which he wants to kill Roche and Thaler was kinda stupid, I suppose CDPR needed to tie loose ends and were out of ideas how to make it climatic.

>>147956810
No. Other schools are only in the games, in the books they're mentioned only few times and without any specifications. I remember only one reference, and that was when Bonhart wanted to scare Ciri and has shown her his medallions (she said to him that Geralt will find and kill him) - three witcher's medallions, for each one he killed. There was a Wolf, Cat and a Griphon.

Books tell that the secret of making witchers is long lost with the mages who made them (and they were killed by religious fanatics. Kaer Morhen was besieged and taken, and all people inside slaughtered - most witchers were in the wild at the time though)
>>
>>147957759
witchers having no emotions is just religious propaganda
>>
>>147957350
Well shit, a few years more and there could be no witchers anymore. Who will kill all of those big ass monsters that regular humans fear to even see?
Maybe they'll start to make witchers again then.

>>147957803
The thing with Dijkstra at the end was pretty retarded yea, probably wanted to make the build up to the end more epic
I mean who would leave his good friends to die just so that a crippled retired spy can rule a kingdom.
>>147958293
How do you explain what Geralt said after Vesemir died then? Something like: can't cry, dunno how.
>>
>>147958554
>can't cry, dunno how.
he meant that literally, the mutations changed his physiology so he's unable to cry
>>
>>147958554
>Books tell that the secret of making witchers is long lost with the mages who made them

I think that at one point in the books its mentioned that kaer morhen is still stocked with grasses and mutagens so technically they'd be able to make a new witcher but I figure it would be far more dangerous than it even normally it is

They'd have to get a wizard involved to start making new witchers again and wizards are fucking cunts

Besides the whole theme is that theres less and less monsters and witchers are becoming obsolete
>>
>>147958820
While being translated to english the sentence lost it's meaning
In polish he says that because he's a witcher he doesnt have emotions and does not know how to cry
>>
>>147959145
I think it makes a lot more sense in English honestly. Why would Geralt bother with that bullshit "no emotion" stuff to Ciri just after Vesemir died?
>>
>>147959145
then he's bullshitting because most of the books and games are about him getting into trouble because of his emotions
>>
>>147958874
>Besides the whole theme is that theres less and less monsters and witchers are becoming obsolete
where do you get that from?

the game itself was creating a rather worrying future
way too few witchers left, vesemir ded (still dont understand why they killed him off, i mean i understand that the old wise guy always dies in american movies but come the fuck on) and honestly there is very little the world knows about monsters compared to witchers

so nobody to rebuild the school, other schools ded too
>>
>>147959381
>>147959145
This no emotion stuff is VERY inconsistent in the games anyway. Lambert is bitter yet cares deeply for his witcher bros, Geralt has about as many emotions as any normal human has and Vesemir is also seen showing grandfatherly love for Ciri. Yet Letho is a prime example for emotionless witchers. The two cat school witchers you can kill during W3 are also emotionless. It seems the good guy witchers have emotions for the sake of the story
>>
>>147957759
Yeah, the "it's not always the monsters who are really bad" theme is a important in the books.

And the concept of no emotions for witchers is kinda mixed. Geralt can surely get angry or sad, he does that in the books (Shard of Ice). He can definitely love. But he does react a lot more calm than normal people would. Books kinda make it like you're not sure if the "no-emotion" part is true or just a myth (one of the other myths popular among the folk is that the witcher will fuck everything that moves)
I dont ask how saving monsters is better reward-wise.

Also, Witchers are almost immortal. They can die from their wounds, but they age A LOT slower than normal people.

Actually Vesemir is really old - he is (was) the last of the people who remembered making witchers. He couldnt restart the process though, as he was only a swordfighting teacher.

>>147958554
Books suggest that normal humans were able to fight most of the monsters if they attacked them en masse. Witchers were just an ultimate weapon, a wunderwaffe, if you like, a way to make human domination assured.

>>147958874
yeah, they do, and they mention also that there is no person alive which would have any idea how to use that equipment.

And proccess of making a witcher killed eight boys out of ten, so think what could happen if someone would try to go "try-and-miss" on that.
>>
>>147959508
Well he does have emotions, maybe not as many or as strong as humans do, but he does feel love, I mean if he didnt felt anything he would not bound himself with yennefer right?
>>
>>147959892
>(one of the other myths popular among the folk is that the witcher will fuck everything that moves)

but it's true in the first game, when he was full amnesia mode so it might be true, at least in games

at the very least you need the viper swords
>>
I just think that emotions are suppressed, but not killed off completely.

>>147960174
Yeah, that's true in the books too. Still, there's an instance in which folk get an old book written in elfish language (they cant read, but they have an old hag which has memorized everything that is in the book and gives that knowledge to the next girl when she is close to the grave) which describes monsters and there is a page about witchers, which tells exactly "hide all your women and dont get tricked as witchers will try to trick you all the way, though there is no problem the witcher cant solve"

>about monster more or less plentiful
Its more like that: witcher made the world more or less safe for people. Yeah, still somebody more or less often will get horribly mutilated, but you don't have to defend your village day and night from the monsters anymore.

So as it is like that, people dont need witchers anymore. There were religious attacks on them (I wrote earlier about siege of Kaer Morhen), the secret of making them was lost and what witchers are left are dying out.

And as witchers are dying out, monsters are getting more and more space to multiply. Less witchers > more monsters. You know, ecology.

got witcher 3 during this last sale and it's pretty great so far, going through Velen now and there's so much to do.

Wild Hunt is mentioned in TW1, though. A wraith of the King of the Wild Hunt is the final boss.

The Wild Hunt and Ciri were explained during cutsxenes in Witcher 2. Basically Geralt regains his memory during W2 and also learns about both Ciri and the Wild Hunt.

Just imagine, a higher vampire starts to do some fucked up things, something like in tw3 in Novigrad, the withers have all died out and only thing the villagers are able to do is to call the militia that can't do shit.
They will have to start making more witchers, or think about some other solution.
>>
>>147961213
there's at least 2. One by the cemetery, protected by a wraith and one by the south road near a bridge(IIRC), protected by a Bear.
>>
How can there be a witcher 4 witch Ciri as protagonist if you can get an ending where she dies?
>>

You can die at the start of TW2 if you're not careful talking to Roche, should the games just have ended there?
>>
>>147961325
I just said fuck it and wound up doing all of them. There's actually 4. One in the cemetery protected by a wraith. One on the battlefield where the monster nest is. One northeast of Sawmill and directly west of Mill, protected by another wraith. Then one directly south of Broken Bridge, protected by a big ass, tough bear.

Still got 2 more points to do but I highly doubt they're places of power.
>>
>>147962423
you can also die if you're an asshole to Iorveth
>>
>>147962479
I did every single one in the entire game and only regret the ones in Skellige. The '?' In White orchard are actually some of the better ones
>>
>>147961213
No, you do not need a guide. You dont need to max out this game, this is not dark souls. Just play it and have fun. Nothing bad will happen if you wont explore all of white orchard or wont find all the places of power. There's nothing you can miss which could make game harder or unbeatable.

Still, all interesting places in the game are marked on the map with "?". You get the "?" on the map after looking at the rooster boards.
>>147961307

If they dont murder all the mages then a mage can defend them pretty well. It's told in Lesser Evil that defence of the town from the monsters was one of the duties of resident wizard.
Still, he didnt fight the monsters, he would just use magic to make them go away.

But yeah, that's what its about. People were slaughtered, so they made witchers. Witchers won the war, people got to live peacefully and forgot about the dangers, so they disposed off the witchers. As there is no witchers, monsters are gaining ground and soon people will regret it VERY MUCH.

>>147962479
Have fun, do not try to min max. All "?" are worth looking at, as there is often nice equipment there.
>>
>>147962247
Or just make a simulation of choices like tw 3 did with tw 2, but do not make a dead Ciri a choice
>>
>>147962698

>>
>leave gwent alone for the start of the game
>start getting into it now in Velen

fuck

also what's a good deck early on? that skellige bitch in Crow's nest is tearing my ass apart with that monster deck of hers
>>
>>147963081
Just grab as many special cards as possible and bring lots of spies
I always played with northern realms, just throw some shitty cards and spies at the first round to make the enemy lose cards and then hit him hard in the second round.
They usually dont have any cards left in the third round. Never lost after I started using this strategy
>>
>>147963081
Whatever you do, don't play Scoiatael or Monsters. Northern realms is the best one. Also do yozrself a favor and don't use wheather cards. You only need biting frost for monster decks other than that they are useless. Also use the 2nd foltest card as your leader card, it means you don't need any clear wheather cards either
>>
>>147963006
Yeah, that's true.

>>147963081
Buy yourself some cards from the bartenders and try to win some from common people. After some time you will build a deck (Northern Kingdoms is the easiest to build and play) and learn how to kick ass. Yes, that girl is a pretty hard opponent, but you can always come for her later (You will anyway, as she is the best blacksmith in the game without dlc's if I remember correctly. She makes armor, the best swordsmith is elf in Novigrad). Also, you will find much harder opponents later in the game.
>>
>Crafted items auto-regenerate after meditating if you have alcohol

Pretty lame but kinda nice at the same time.
>>
>>147963081
Try to do all gwent quests so you get the hero cards. Also, spies and tight bond cards are your friends. Northern realms have the better spies and tight bond cards.
>>
>>147963769
avoids the grind a bit.
>>
Also, as most of you havent read the books, I have a revelation for you
>The Witcher's world isnt humanity homeworld.
>It's the planet of the gnomes. After them dwarves have shown themselves and no one exactly know from where, maybe they coexisted
> elves came on white ships from the West and it's not their world either
> humans came here one thousand years after the elves, during conjuction of the spheres (just like the monsters). Also, they have known no magic prior to entering this world. It's also implied that they destroyed their previous world
>>
>>147961325
Welp I was wrong. There was another one for a total of 5 places of power. Glad I went through it all, those 5 points are a pretty big deal.
>>
>>147963769
It saves you a lot of time spent looking for ingredients like in tw 2
I never used potions in tw 2 just because you have to meditate to use them and it was a pain in the ass to make them.
Here it's just make it once and you have it forever. It kind of makes sence honestly
>>
So, just finished Blood and Wine for the first time. Anna and Syanna both lived, was there any way to ensure Regis didn't need to kill Detlaff?
>>
>>147964184
>t was a pain in the ass to make them.

How so? Herbalist's gloves is part of starting equipment since patch, but even without it it's easy to pile up from the most important herbs. Throw the Harvester talent (+1 ingredient) into the mix and you'll never have to worry about vast majority of potions.
>>
>>147963974
they wont matter in the long run, soon you will be swimming in skills you cant use because you have limited space to equip them.
>I actually though that to be stupid design decision and modded it for all skills to be always active, though had to delete the mod as it clashed with Blood and Wine

Also, about Gwent:
>When you will have a lot of cards throw out the weaker ones from the deck as you will get random ten cards out of the deck in every game. Try to have as few cards as possible in the deck and make them to be the strongest you can (so randomizer will give you strong cards each time)
> use a lot of spies and dummies. You can use a dummy to steal a spy enemy throws at you. You can use a dummy to take back used medic card and throw it again on the battlefield and it's skill will work second time (however not all skills work that way). Well used dummies can be strongest cards in that game.
>>
>>147964810
Congratulations, you got the best ending.
>>
>>147965072
But the fact that you can only use them while meditating out of combat made them all useless for me, with the exception of cat potion
>>
>>147965170
Nilfgaard is the best because of that. Gwent is 100% card advantage, and Nilfgaard has the most card advantage because of the 5-6 medic cards and the OP leader ability that allows you to steal one card from their discard pile.

Play a spy, then in the next turn you have a guaranteed spy to play again.
>>
>>147965170
To add onto the dummies thing, dummy+scorch is just brutal, especially against monsters.
>>
>>147965448
you mean decoy + villenthretenment.
>>
>>147965693
Yea, that.
>>
>>147965170
>they wont matter in the long run, soon you will be swimming in skills you cant use because you have limited space to equip them.

not true. Due to the requirement to unlock higher tiers of skills, you need every point you can get even if you won't actually use the skills you unlock.
>>
>>147965352
I don't know, it has never been an issue for me. Durations could have been longer though - speaking about Cat, I had to consume 4 or 5 to clear out the Tunnel of the Founders and finally get the Blood Sword. But since there's a specialization for that (+10% / +40% duration) in the Alchemy tree for that ...
>>
>>147965693
not only the dragon has that power. However I thought I checked that and it didnt work for second time, but maybe I remember wrong.

>>147965835
Well, I suppose it's true, however it's not like you will have any problem to get the last tier skills from at least two trees.
>>
>>147965987

[Row] Scorch only works if the total strength in that row is 10+

ok, how the fuck can Vilgefortz not only beat Gerrard of Rivia, but completely wipe the floor with him?

He's a mage, a really power full mage.
Witchers not made to fight mages.

>>147967082
in Thanedd he beat Geralt in melee combat though, no visible spells. That should be a witcher's field.
>>
>>147966918
Mages in Witcher universe have near godlike power. Of course he could buff himself with spells. Even the rod he uses is not real, he made it from thin air just before fight.
>>

>>
>>147969456
Well, You've got an invasion aby Nilfgaard. The first one, after that is the second. That one in the games is third.

Anyway, Northern Realms would lose it hard if not for the mages. They (exactly one of them, some guy called Vilgefortz from Roggeveen, who could he be?) forced the northern kings to make an alliance and to stand their ground at Sodden Hill. Also he took few mages there (few dozens, maybe? Thirteen of them fell there). Battle was bloody and terrible, but was won by northerners thanks to the mages. Both Yennefer and Triss took part in that battle. Yen lost her eyesight, Triss lost her hair, which made everyone to believe her to be fourteenth fallen mage (as everyone recognized her because of her beautiful hair and people who knew her died in the battle and Yen was blind). She even got the nickname Fourteenth from the Hill. Also she got something fucked with her tits so hard that even the magic couldnt cure it, but game developers pissed on it with warm stream and gave her a cleavage anyway, ignoring herself specifing in the books that she will never wear it anymore.

>>147970186
The Niilfgaard didnt use sorcerers in battle. They used them sometimes in sieges, but not in battle. That was the reason they corrupted Vilgefortz before second invasion, to make sure second sodden will not happen
>>
>>147969481
They swear a lot and that actually fits their race, I mean seeing a dwarf you expect a miner or a bulider thats well educated and can behave

Yeah, it solved the problem. The script kicked in but the fire balls didn't destroy that wooden structure. Maybe I decided to bait the second group of enemies one by one (so they can't surround me) and killed the last one far from that.

And yeah, W2 is still nice in-game visually but looking at the screenshots themselves makes you notice the dirty details. Funny how it was the best looking DX9 game back in 2k11, a lot of people refused to believe first that it's not DX11.

He hated them, but recognized their usefulness, that's why they werent all just thrown into dungeons in Nilfgaard. Reasons are explained in the books very well and there are lot of them. And I cant say I blame him for that.

I read the books, and I did not remember it. By the wiki page it looks like you're right. That's in the Baptism of Fire. I don't have that one - couldnt buy it - and I got it from a library, so I read it a few times less than the rest.

>>147974230
I'm not saying the whole game, just partially, like Novigrad
>>
>>147974310
There is a reason why Emhyr is in Vizima (or whatever in english) instead of a royal palace in Nilfgaard
>>
>>147974230
It does not have to be. In witcherverse some monster learn to live in "symbiosis" with humans, Zeugl for example. Also it's not like there arent three or four lesser vampires in Novigrad and Oxenfurt. And a higher one.

Anyway, its 3 a.m in Poland now, so I'm going to sleep. Have a lullaby.

That'd be pretty neat. I'd love to see other places like Kovir and Zerrikania too. And with a Ciri game we might get some brief glimpses of other worlds too.

>whenever you fast travel in TW4 Ciri creates a portal and steps through it then steps out after loading
Would be kind of a cool touch.
>>
>>147977385
Definitely, and it beats a generic loading screen.

Although I wonder if a future plot would force her to limit her teleportations, but that's really wild speculation.

In TW2 is there actually a hidden attribute bonus if you beat Numa on your first try without steroids?

I've seen a couple posts about it but it doesn't at all seem legit.

First time I've ever heard about this. So I did some research and there's absolutely no sign of a such feature, no way it's legit.
>>
>>147997014
People meme about it because IIRC, even if you actually keep the cursor in that little bar you can't win. So without steroids it's literally impossible

Except if you're using cheats, like I did in my somethingth W2 playthrough, and I don't remember gaining anything from that
>>
>>147960502
I probably shouldnt be saying this because I dont know too much about his backstory but I found Avallac'h to be my favorite character
>>
>>147999790
I actually went ahead and did it.

No attribute gets added. The journal entry just says "Without his enhancers, Numa turned out to be an easy opponent." not worth it desu

Because she is angry.
We first see her clench her fist when Geralt reveals that she had kidnapped herself and not been kidnapped by anyone else.

Martin is a shit-tier writter. I dont know what people see in his books, they're boring as hell and full of lowest emotional attacks on the reader (and yes, I read them).
