As you can see, Clover fell off the roof and got downed.
Then she ran in and got caught by the guard the host had highlighted.
You can't hear it in the webm but Clover fired first, then the Murky shot back and alerted the map. So it seems bots can shoot people in stealth with unsuppressed weapons without making noise.

So it's been a fucking while since I played this. Last I played it ICTV was dog shit and LBV and BV were the best armors and you had to level dodge.
Did the game just buff everything or something? I got top tier in Fugitive revive, Enforcer additional armor (but not aced for ICTV), Mastermind Revive with Ace, and top tier in Ghost (but not aced since my concealment with LBV and BV is already enough to take advantage of the unaced version of the Ghost top tier dodge thing.
So whats the optimal build? Last I remember you had to SCROUNGE for points and appropriate them well. Now I reached top tier in SEVERAL trees.
Did this shit get easier? Also Crook or Rogue Deck? I assume Dodge is still vital and what you GENERALLY do for deathwish, right. ICTV still shit?

Flechettes subtract 3 damage, and add 8 accuracy, and the capability to penetrate tan armor, as the description states.
What the description does not state is it modifies the range values. A shotgun by default has a minimum and maximum range of 10m and 30m, doing full damage from 0m to 10m, 0 damage past 30m, and linearly decreasing damage from 10m to 30m. What flechettes make this is 20m to 54m.
A Raven has a base damage of 59, with Flechettes decreasing it by 5%. Because of the decrease in damage being linear, a flechette does more damage on any target past 11 meters.

When you put down ECMs to just skip the stealth. For example, 4 people with 8 upgraded ECMs would have about 4 minutes of ECM time. That lets you go in, do a bunch of objectives and loot, and get out.
OVK (and the Steam forums) got very butthurt when people reacted to Infamy 2.0's shitastic release with ECM rushing every Shadow Raid DW pub lobby ever so every new heist they released since Spring Break have had ECM counter-measures like objectives and timelocks not working when ECMs are running.

If Hillary calls in additional guards you can kill them when they wander upstairs, they have no pagers. It's not too bad, really, sneking the guards is pretty safe with lots of hiding spots, but the RNG objectives in the middle of the chain can be sort of hairy sometimes. Once you've got the safe room door you're home free, guards won't react to the open door so just bag Hector and put him on the chair in the little rightwing niche of the saferoom.

Rats Pro Day 1. 7 bags of meth. No contest. PrOVK and Pro DW are both acceptable. If you don't want to spend 5 minutes getting an extra 1-2 mil exp and getting the $20+ mil payout at the end, you can just restart Day 1 once you get the exp.
Lesser alternatives would be like: HB, GGC DW, FWB DW, FS PrOVK/Pro DW (if you get all loot), Boiling Point OVK/DW, HM PrOVK/Pro DW, Big Bank DW. Apparently Big Oil PrOVK too but I am skeptical.
Technically Goat Sim is a good source of exp IF YOU SUCCEED but fuck Goat Sim. Fuck it hard. Probably one of the worst things to be introduced to the game.

Normal Jew Stores. I used to get ~50 Jew Stores an hour when I was grinding the RNG for a specific achievement mask.Then I got 3 of the same mask in the next 10 cards.
If you're not farming weapon mods, as long as you have 2 spares of a particular mod, that mod will never drop again until you have less than 2 spares available. So eventually if you play/grind enough, you will stop getting weapon mods altogether and have a better chance at getting other card types though at that point, you're probably dumping your money into offshore paydays. Also don't buy guns you're not using and the game won't roll mods for them.

That really is about it. The big difference between DW and Overkill is basically knowing the map well enough to be able to get from point A to point B without getting killed, and being able to know where all the cover/lines of fire are around you at all times, ie map familiarity.

The efficiency boost of Portable Saw aced is a plain multiplier of 1.4 to the saw damage regarding objects that can be sawed open; with one damage-increasing mod the saw damage becomes 26 * 1.05 * 1.4 = 38.22, which is sufficient to open boxes with one hit.
Can confirm. This baby with Fast Motor and Durable Blade can one-shot deposit boxes no problem. Managed to clean out 120 boxes + ATMs with an unupgraded ammo bag. You can probably do the same with Silent Motor+Sharp Blade but you wouldn't be able to go through almost 30 boxes a blade. Might be useful for stealthing Train instead I guessloud Train is better. Totally worth the 4 points in Portable Saw Aced instead of the +2% boost I get from Transporter Aced.

I was fucking around with weapons and skills and for some reason the Rattlesnake sniper with Silent Killling Basic, despite having ~10 damage higher than a Joceline/Mosconi with slug rounds, can't one-hit a shields through the shield. Do slug shotguns and snipers have different damage falloff through shields or is something bugged?

Joceline with slugs and no shotgun skills: 175.8 damage
Rattlesnake with suppressor and Silent Killer Basic: 187.2 damage
For some reason while the Joceline was easily one hitting shields, the Rattlesnake took two shots.
That was the initial thing I noticed that made me post this

Looking into the matter I tried another heist using the Lever-action Rifle with a suppressor and SK basic which got to 188.4 and it did one-hit shields.
After that I tried using the Lebensauger with SK Basic because it had the exact same 187.2 damage as the Rattlesnake, I shit you not every other shield I killed took either one or two shots. At first I thought it was a range thing but come close range kills took two while some far-end-of-Firestarter kill took one.
I just...I just don't even know.
