Got some decent looking Pillars in. The orange block is going to be a fireball eventually. I think I'm just gonna make it into a game when you need good timing to jump from pillar to pillar but also need good timing to avoid obstacles and other stuff.

You should consider making some levels when you have to use the homing missiles to destroy some obstacles for you, or levels where there are two submarines and you must use the homing missile to destroy one of them.

New grafix
I added a second model to each snake segment, as a connector. Now each snake is fully connected and can be distinguished on the board.

Motion is choppy thanks to some past choices that I don't have time to correct before demo day.

problem is I want ground sensor contacts(because users will be able to modify leg length to enable you to climb steeper slopes), and that hexabot has 3 servos per leg. And it's moving all of them all the time as it's moving. So that means I need to figure out how to update 18 different angles while simultaneously preventing legs from sliding around or clipping through ground or walls. All this while ensuring it's a generic system that can support different leg lengths over uneven terrain.

So most likely I'll oversimplify the system to be pretty much mobile pillars on an underslung rail system with the fortress proper being on another rail system on top of this one, with rotation issues being handwaved away through articulated heels or something.

The dungeon is the environment in which the game takes place, like a scene. It contains the tiles and navigation graph. If an actor attempts to move, It checks with the dungeon if the tile is already occupied by a wall or another Actor.

Seems like you could have a dungeon object with static methods which take an Actor and what they want to do as an argument. Or you could have the actor handle its own movment and then check a static tile and graph object.

You should try splitting the dungeon class into a class that handles entities and a class that handles the tile map. The dungeon owns the entities and the tile map, and the dungeon passes the entities a pointer to the tile map they're on.
