Also the sealing of 2 through 7 tails is a blank period in Akatsuki history so you might get more value out of that. Really 8 hours is a big commitment so do whatever you want. Rewritten the Water Shield Jutsu to hopefully make it more viable for the players. It now blocks a flat 2 damage from all attacks, lasts three turns rather than one, and basic ranged attacks have a 50% chance of completely being stopped by the shield.

The only thing that could possibly contribute to our decline is the non Naruto related discussion that's been going on. Pic related isn't the only example but it's one of them. Not trying to start an argument but our ONLY appeal is that this is the best place to talk about Naruto, and the only reason people would choose not to stay is not because we get into Naruto arguments, it would be because this is starting to look like a drama hub. Arguing about Lee is pretty trivial and no one cares if it takes up a quarter of the thread, but this non-Naruto stuff is pure drama, both sides. And what's more important than how this impacts our image is how it might drive off long-time posters. Again nobody's gonna get too pissed off when discussing Lee but drama might.

I can post examples but I really don't need to. Just from the previous thread (haven't posted since then) I guess I was the one to bring up Metal Lee and why I'm hopeful they'll redeem themselves for what they did to Rock Lee's character by having Rock Lee's dream live on in the new Lee, which spawned that shitstorm afterwards. The discussion that spawned from it was disproportionate, we can all agree on that, to how interesting the topic is, and it's not exactly fresh content, but little things like that can explode in the span of 3 hours.

You know, if there's a follow-up to this campaign, I'm really going to need to step up the level of bad guys. Waniko will be approaching Sage Mode, Arata will likelyhave the Strength of a Hundred Seal, Fugetsu might havespent time getting trained in his Boil Release by Kokuou, and Renya will be fucking around with A- and S-rank seals.

Doing up the character sheets, since the players selected their specialisations. I'm doing up their abilities and whatnot. Renya gets his sealing skill tree started.
Sealing Apprenticeship – Soon after being inducted into the inter-Village team, Renya decided to walk the path of a sealing specialist. Taking on an apprenticeship offered by Tenten, a renowned sealing master, Renya is slowly but surely learning one of the subtlest and underappreciated ninja arts.
Renya knows the following Sealing techniques, jutsu and abilities:
Weapon Sealing and Unsealing – Renya can seal the following weapons into scrolls. Once unsealed, the scroll burns out and becomes useless: kunai, shuriken, all shortswords, all longswords, and spears and similar weapons (naginata, etc). A scroll takes five minutes to prepare, and the sealing marks are different for each weapon – i.e. a katana cannot be sealed into a scroll with kunai sealing markings.

Aiight so, I'm gonna welcome all feedback and criticism, constructive and otherwise. Although just because you suggest I change something doesn't mean I will. Some of you will probably not like several of the ideas, and that's fine. Also, what characters say will not be verbatim. I don't think Naruto would say 'aiight cunt, let's get cracking' in the actual canon. Although Chav Naruto would be hilarious.
So, starting at Mission V: Lord of Ravens,where in Mission IV: CSI Konoha, a member of the Curze clan (yeah, yeah, I know, Western name in Naruto reeee, I'll fix it when I get closer to running the game) murdered a civilian before being tracked by the team through Konoha but eventually being reverse-summoned before they could snag him. At the start of Mission V, Naruto calls the team in saying he'd been in touch with the lord of the Curze clan because, hey, after like two and a half decades of no contact, one of your guys just shows up out of nowhere and murders a civilian, before spitting sentences at the team in Old Noxian and disappearing, and that's not fucking cool. Lord Corax gave the ok for the team to head to the city of Noxus on the island of Deliverance where the Curze clan resides and to ask several questions and do some digging on Naruto's behalf.After a boat ride from the east coast that may or may not have shenanigans, the team will get to Deliverance, and will be escorted to Noxus. As they approach, Waniko will start to feel at ease, which will be weird since Noxus is like Amegakure, but more foreboding, less inviting, and way spookier. As they pass through the gates, she'll feel really calm and chill. They'll be taken to see Lord Corvus Corax IV, master of the Raven Guard, lord of Ravens, and head of the Curze clan.

Thing brings up a new worry, because Curze operators just, DO NOT go rogue. It just doesn't happen. So if one of them is acting under new orders, he has to be found, and either brought in, or put down.Corax checks the archives and sees that an operator had been loaned to Amegakure about seven years prior. The weird thing was that the operator stopped reporting in after three years or so, and it had seemed that he had just slipped through the cracks. This is another big worry, because the Curze clan's MAIN THING is information gathering. They like to know everything about everyone, when possible. He suggests the team head to Amegakure and check out what Lord Zedd knows, but they'll need to head back to Konoha first to report and to get authorisation.

He basically says that as a half-Curze, Noxus is her second home, and she will always be welcome there. It's here that Waniko can potentially pick up a stealth tutor - First Shadow Captain Kayvaan Shrike of the Raven Guard. Don't know how I'll work that. Maybe I won't. It's just a thought.After they've had enough time bumming around - if they decide to shop, there will be unique weapons, armour and items that they can't get on the mainland - they can head back to Corax and be warped back to the mainland via their Shadow Mass Generator - basically a machine that can project a Curze member's Living Shadow and allow others to travel through it over long distances. They get warped back, Waniko handles it fine, the other three need to take a CON check to see if they can keep from throwing up from the disorientation.
And that's more or less Mission V. Clearly it's not all the details, but it's the most relevant parts and a bit of an overview. Now, I'm heading to get food because I'm so goddamn hungry. If nobody cares when I get back, I won't bother posting the other thoughts I had.
