As someone who played the game upon first release, quit, then came back recently...I have to say, it's improved by a bunch.
The first F2P week scared me, because the starting area was desolate. But now on new chars I can easily spot 10 people roaming around. I want to keep playing this game but most people don't even realize how good it is. Or never even got past level 10.

Most mechanics in the game aren't too difficult to deal with, it's just that the punishment is usually death or at least a shit load of damage.
Just try to learn what bosses do so that you can know what's coming and be prepared to move or deal with it ahead of time and don't get overwhelmed trying to process everything once it's already coming at you.

Why are there so many absolute faggots that play this game. No matter what guild I seem to join they are full of the biggest wannabe hardcore douchebags I have ever seen in any game.
Tried to join one recently that isn't progressed which is perfect for me since I need to learn these fights, and douche factor is magnitudes higher than any guild I have ever seen in any MMO I have played. Guild ranks for DPS decided my an arbitrary bench. I know min DPS levels are important, but it's a tier system where x,y,z give different tiers of raider. Only in this 2hardcore4u game have I seen shit like this.

I used to raid with a top 300 world or something like that on the server Malfurion in WoW during Lich King. The raid leader never had a garbage attitude like that.
If you made a major mistake, you would get booted, something like killing the whole raid on a "on farm" fight or the like. First time fights, or learning heroics it was never like that. Everyone should come knowing the basic mechanics for their role.
That is what high end raiding is like essentially. The difference though between the guild I was in, as a tank, and top 50 world guilds is still pretty big.

Leveling is fun for me but I'm an altaholic, it's pretty standard questing fare for MMOs.
It can get stressful if you go after all the path stuff while questing, and do every challenge, etc. I've been skipping those on my last few alts (going back for path later).
Endgame is nice. Dungeons are still great, even better with all the newfriends. Arcterra is cool and you may like it since it's a crossfaction fuckfest and people like to flag there apparently.

There's a contract board in Spaceport Horizon by the instance vendors and QGs. They can be completed in any size group, and across the world, and in all instances. There are three tiers, and once you complete the reward track after about 5-6 days, you can either choose a bag with random iLVL 100 gear or a loot bag.
There are also PvP contracts, but I don't PvP and don't know how they work.

there's 48 ability points, and 55 amp power total
there were some world pvp quests added recently, so if you pick those up during peak hours you will find people to fight, instanced pvp is usually going on during peak hours too
there is a protostar contract board, contracts come in 3 tiers, tier 1 gives 50 points, tier two 150 and tier 3 450.You can complete 3 tier 2 and 1 tier 3 per day, and as many tier 1 as you like. Most contracts will be collect 50 of this item, kill 30 of these creatures, get 10 super kills etc. the tier 3 ones are usually complete a world event, world boss, dungeon, expedition or adventure. When you complete the contracts, you get lootbags which have currency like glory, which you can buy gear with. I think the first tier of contract rewards is 1000, so you can probably get that before everything resets
