How are my stats (I'm at lv 197)? I'm a little con heavy because of equips, without those it should be 90 ish (still high), but I was wondering if I should ever stop dumping stats on spr, if there was some threshold or something beyond which it was just overkill.

How many potential you should have to make your weapon worthwhile to +10 or when you decide to sell and use another fresh one? I have a +6 weapon and it failed to 10/11 potential when I was going for +8.

That depends on what your guild needs. Since you have Cleric2, you're "okay-ish to go" for almost everything, but specifics depends on what exactly your guild is missing.
Most guilds want DPS from their Clerics. The party limit is 5, because fuck you full supports.
PvP guilds want PD or get out: Bloodletting or bust!
Krivis is also good for Priest builds, because otherwise you're gonna need to those Daino scrolls.
Oracles have their uses like Resetting and stuff, if your guild doesn't have any of those then that's also an option.
Fucking nobody plays Pardoner builds. I find it quite hilarious how people are willing to shell out millions of silver for a +99 MDef shit-Wall, when a Pardoner1 with 0 Spr gives a +110 Mdef buff. Some builds would also suck your cock for Discerning Evil, but nobody makes their build around that since... well, NOBODY plays Pardoner builds.
tl;dr; Take what you want, nigger.
Just be prepared to shell out a Skill reset if we get KToS Blessing buff. Level 3 was fine, but it won't be once that buff comes.

It's something like ((SPR*0.06)+(INT+0.08))*SkillLevel. In other words, with Divine Might, your scaling at level 3 Bless is *4 and level 16 would be *16. Your Bless would be literally one fourth of every other Bless.

i just took a +10 enchant rod with perfect potential of 10 minus 2 for sockets and dumped 8,3 million and got a rod with zero potential and +7 enchant. so i spent around 10million total for a +7 rod with no potential after everything was said and done. i already have over 30 million into attributes and that's a good time to have a +10 weapon. aiming for something like +15-20 i think you need 60+ million before considering it after this failure.

Most freedom: Swordsman, just take pelt 1 and you'll get into every endgame grind party no matter how special little snowflake your build is
Always wanted: Cleric 2, everything else is up to you but cleric 2s are always wanted
Most dps: Elememe for grinding (google it) and fletcher3 for world bossing
Best support: CyroChrono hands down
My suggestion is to follow the above, if you want freedom than play a swordsman or cleric since you can choose whatever you want outside cleric 2 and pelt 1

This is your first mistake, assuming there is ANY stability. Devs balance this like they have NO IDEA what the fuck they are planning, this is fine for MOBAs or things you don't invest much into building characters, but here it's defining of a bad game. See Shinobi and Swordsman 3, or pardoners who went INT.

Standard meta build-crafting as with any MMO - no one knows for sure what the new hotness will be when we get a whole new batch of class ranks and skills.
The potential snag is some new 2nd or 3rd circle for classes that don't have it right now having something incredible. If people aren't built to get there with their next promotion, that's why they would have to reroll.

Pardoners is a cleric class that scales off both int (indulgentia) and spr (increase mdef), its just that retards went for the indul damage instead of going spr like they were meant to as a healslut.
Swordsman 3 and shinobi is talking about the incoming "buffs" for shinobi that changes the skill from 500% damage for certain skills that swordsman 3 (as well as shinobi have but thats besides the point) have into 50% damage for all skills

no, no respeccing in the game aside from skills, ktos gets stats resetting one from events but itos didnt have a single event since it's birth while ktos gets one every week, not a issue of merging repositories, either.

Whether you go int or spr depends almost completely on what the classes you choose before plague doctor are.
For example, krivis and max cure builds scale heavily off int whilst priests scale heavily off spr

You can try making your own build, but when Rank 8 comes up, you will probably have to reroll again.
Anyway there isn't much of a grinding until 210 or so since you only do quests and stuff, but then again, you can reach R7 without grinding at all, heck they are slowly adding quests for 240+ so that you won't have to grind anymore. Of course you can ignore the quests and just grind your level, but expect a solo grind since most people don't grind at early levels since the quests give huge exp from cards. It's more of a single-player experience desu.
If you come here for the PvP/GvG/WoE stuff, it's largely undeveloped and we have yet to see the PvP ladder and any reward from GvG, you will want to check it out again after a month or two.Personally, I like the lore, had fun doing the quests for the first time.

Get used to it - you're going to be solo until about lvl210. I'm right on the cusp now myself, hit 200 yesterday and never partied once outside of Fedi missions.
That said - if you can make it, it will be a whole new world open. Watch those shouts - everyone wants heals and you'll be in demand. Your major hurdle is making it past the lvl186 break point for the xp reset. Once you clear that, it's pretty fast to the 200's.

Having pelt 1 is enough and people will automatically want you in their parties especially in high level. Swordsman is weak compared to the other classes in DPS, and literally your role is just taunting the mobs most of the time.

Did you do the other map? Go to town and buy a TP scroll to Orsha/Klaipeda and do the story quest there. Don't forget to talk to npcs more than once in field maps since a lot have quests/chain quests for you. Standard Diev build is Cleric2Diev3Druid2. Going INT is fine but you want some CON too.

Probably. Part of the reason everyone gets frustrated with talt is because you're forbidden from running for them as much as you want for the insanely low drop rate.
With Saalus you get to run it once or twice depending on if you bought a token.
If I were to take steps toward making it enjoyable I'd let every boss drop a cube, make the recipes TRADABLE, and up the limit.
Seriously, I've actually gotten a Didel recipe from that place and I can't even give it to my friend.
You'll notice I'm only complaining about Saalus. I could take a huge steaming shit on the game's loot system in general but I'm sure most of it has already been said. I don't know how different things are in kTOS.

Even if you want make an AFK Necro you should STILL go Wiz3, because Flesh Cannon does fucking good damage and should be boosted.
You can make an AFK Necro build AND a good Flesh Cannon build together.
Wiz 3 > Linker > WhateverYouWant(Sorc1 for afk farming or linker if you want to be a quickcast share slut) > Necro 2.
It's a bit harder to level, but you have Magic Missle and town buffs, so you should be able to pass thru the harder part pretty well. Once you get to Sorc get either a Templeshooter card or a Chappation if you're a poor fag and afk on bees until you get levels for Necro, when you get necro just afk farm forever, but you can kill some hanamings with quickcast + flesh cannon now instead of being a afkshitter only.

Can someone remind me again why swordsman exist in any of the actual "content" (aka not talking about grinding due to non-finished quests).
I mean even in grinding they're pretty worthless outside the 50% exp boosto but in actual endgame "content" such as world boss, pvp (outside a single specific build, swordsman in general always lose to every other class), et and so on, they're completely unnecessary garbage.

If Doppel c1 I'd recommend 4 DPE, 5 Cyclone, 5 DoV, 1 Mordschlag.
DPE is useful when grinding for rare drops, and DPE level 4 would let you kill 4 mobs with double drops if their health is low enough. Only 1 point is dumb. Low level mobs you can just one shot them all, like grinding for mithril ore or battle bracelets. For higher level mobs just lower their health and use a strong skill (I use spear throw).

Multi hit skills waste the hit count of DPE on each hit. Even sacrament and cafrisun waste hits. Also hitting 5 mobs and using a single hit skill uses 5 hits. Just make sure you can kill the mobs in the next hit.
Its still good though. I've gotten 2 battle bracelets off of one monster before, and having the buff active lets you get double base mob exp even when party members kill monsters, which is good on mission runs.
