I maxed out objectives and bold and then went to save a Dwight hooked in the basement. Wraith was camping so I baited an attack, unhooked the Dwight and then body blocked him so he could escape.
He got away safely while I got sacrificed. Of course, being Dwight, he didn't disappoint and went towards the furthest exit rather than go to the one right next to the basement.

With Spies, you can see potential survivors from farther away than Predator.
But Predator allows you to find where exactly they are (unless they're not running).

This is my experience as well. They're all perfectly coordinated if I'm the killer, we're talking people who repair generators 3 men at a time but don't finish them, but as a survivor they're always idiots.
It wouldn't be a big deal if I had good perks but I'm only level 22 or so despite being a rank 4 killer. I put most of my points into survivors.

What I do is I co-op a generator halfway and then go remove a hook.
If I can't find anyone, I do a gen up to 50% and then move on to the next hook/gen combo.
Combine that with opening a gate and I can easily beat the 5k cap on both categories
