It seems like fire wall do more as a zoning ability in PvP/GvG. You can easily avoid flame ground by jumping, but you have to avoid fire wall by moving around.

Pyro is a luxury PVE meme class. You have 5 abilities to attribute with practically no base damage, it relies entirely on gear and INT. Seems futureproof though since the sheer number of hits and bonus int will stack up someday (plus meme cards update). Imo, pairing pyro3 with chrono3, thaum or linker is smart to keep costs lower while helping your whole team along with your own.
However- Low base damage, immobile multihits are bad in pvp. Reason is players have way more magic defense and the fact that you wont hit more than a few times without CC holding them in place. It will tickle.

Depends what you mean by "grinding". I don't consider what this game makes you do to be "grinding". You rarely have to grind outside of the 200+ range, and that's almost purely because you just run out of quests because the game's not finished.
The game's balance sucks, there's no content, and 99.9% of the game is just following simple "collect 10 bear asses"-esque quests for 100+ hours until you're at a high level and then restarting because you realize there's nothing to do other than that. The devs DO NOT feel like doing anything to fix the game's numerous issues, and frankly, the community doesn't want anything changed except for the worse, because all that remains at this point is a sad, hollow playerbase obsessed with a shitty game and who have no idea what they want.
It's not RO, it's not Maplestory in its heyday, it's not WoW, it's not Diablo. It's worse than any of those. Every once in a while it'll draw you in and you'll have fun, and much like an abused spouse you'll cling to those as reasons to stay with the game. But one step back and you'll realize that those few moments of happiness were really only moments of averageness, of normality, of feeling like you were actually playing a game and having fun.
If you're thinking of getting into this game, do not get into this game. There are so many better MMOs, and infinitely many better games.

The beacon in the southern area of chapel is one of the best sources of exp out there. It alone can get you from the mid 70s to over the exp hump in the 80s without carding.Which makes getting to 90 for the dungeon easy, which makes getting to 100 for missions easy.
That said, gimmick dungeons have stupid puzzles with almost no explanation which you need to look up, because fuck figuring out most of them.

Constructor's Chapel has basically the best XP for that point in the game. Go down into the bottom corner and up the stairs, and there's a place where a beacon spawns for you to activate. When you do, gigantic numbers of Apparitions spawn in a square at the bottom of the stairs, and they keep spawning more and more the faster you kill them.
There's usually at least one party grinding them, so flip through the channels and you might find them.

I do this in my build - C2/Kriv/Pal2/Oracle. It seems nice in theory, but reality is that in any support situation your party is flying around way too much to benefit. (Unless you have some sort of static grind party that doesn't move?)
Auk1 is still good for the enemy debuff and the extra fire resist. I personally don't mind Resto10 in my private solo grind, but it doesn't bring anything to a party other than the boost to your heal tiles.

And let's face it, gear is almost useless in this game. A good weapon can boost your damage some 10~15%, but what's that compared to attributes? Armors barely ever have any worthwhile effects, besides more def/evasion/accuracy.
