They synergize very well. Roadhog makes you want to shoot him due to free ult charge so Zarya shields him when he hooks for free energy. Roadhog is tanky and can heal himself for sustain, half of zaryas HP can regen so they can cover each other. In addition, their ults combo off each other.

You literally don't have the chance to sometimes. He can shoot at the same time you can. You need to have a better connection than the road hog or the roadhog needs to be slow as fuck. Even then the game prioritizes the shooter, meaning you're just SO fucking L sometimes. I got ~40 ping and I can only get out as Lucio less than 30% of the time.I hate this fucking cop out "just dash or push him away" excuse. Here's a better counter: Make it so he doesn't fucking one shot people because he has absolutely no goddamn fucking reason to. His pull shouldn't be a death sentence when it's just him there alone. the game seems to have a soft limit in the mid-twenties for bad players. i noticed the worst gameplay when i was there. all the hallmarks of bad gameplay, like widowmakers that just stand still and have staircases to them for the enemy to use, me as mercy out-shooting 76s, junkrats, reapers, and even picking off reinhardts, etc.
when you descend into the teens, the game is forced to place you with people in the 30s so it can offset the pull your rank has on the team average.
those games are full of people complaining about everyone else and not accepting responsibility for losing

Zenyatta is in a shit spot. He has buffs coming for sure, though. So ti's a good idea to get good with him for when they come out.
Chances are, you're not as good at Junkrat as you think you are though. He's one of those characters you can be trash with and still have some OK stats because of how much he overkills with his damage, making the "damage dealt" look like you're doing a fuckton of damage.
My recommendation is to play the other heros. You don't have enough coverage of roles to do well right now. Defense heroes are rarely used for anything but fun, so focus on picking up a tank and attack hero or two. Learning Lucio is a must right now for support.

The issue of hooking people round corners and into walls is because the enemys location and what you percieve to be their location are two different things
On your screen you've thrown out the hook while they're hookable, but in the delay between firing and the hook connecting, they've moved on their client and then the game server updates their position
Hence why when you hook people and they dont just freeze on the spot before you pull them in, they tend to move slightly

Depends on your team health. Basically you have couple of seconds when no one takes damage, you can use that to bring everyone to full health, especially if you're ulting on the objective to counter opposing push.
But if you're on offense and breaking it down to make a push, speed boost is usually better.

One of my teammates got disconnected (blizzard's fault) and the match dragged on forever only for us to lose and the enemy team to get practically zero rank. The only reason people stayed was the sickening rape threat that is losing rank for leaving.

If you can land the M1 shruikens to the head yes. On unsuspecting players you should be able to, BUT that sounds easier than it actually is.
If you can do that then get the M2 -> v -> shift off then the character will die if it's not a tank.
Oddly enough a big part of Genji is the aim. You can know the maps backwards but if you can't liquidise a soldier 76 heading back from spawn and fuck off with your reset dash, you're not doing your job.
The thing with Genji is that he feels like skill with him snowballs. Once you start reliably taking out a character you start to face smaller crowds. You have your dash and your reflect available because you didn't spaghetti on the person you sniped trying to kill them. You end up jumping all over Rein/Roadhog for ult charge and then suddenly you have dragonblade off of two kills and some damage.
Strong map knowledge and good aim will make a good Genji.Some people who play 76 think they have good aim but they really don't.

How does that translate to carrying in soloqueue thouhh. Especially KotH, capture, or even hybrid maps where you need to cap a node first, where everyone is just full on 6v6 teamfighting?
