Of course when I'm farming story isles, for a abysmally small chance at a rainbow robber penguin to evolve my newly acquired Hammer Usopp before 2x skill up ends, I get both Dorry and Ohm in like less than 20 runs each, and only see the rainbow robber once and it doesn't even drop.
Makes me feel like I ate shit on my 150+ runs for Broggy only to get him from FP recruit in the end anyway.
Guess I'm holding onto these 30+ Impact Usopp books till next skill up, in like 2+ months no doubt.

Batch 2 has some of the most fun and unique units in the game, I prefer that one over the other 2, too bad I didn't pull anything from it. When I max all the raidbosses I'll probably start regularly pulling at sugos again. For now I'm pretty happy with my variety of units.

Unfortunately you need inthawk as a sub, and you need some meat luck while stalling on vista. Other than that, you can use kaku, GPU and thatch. There's a video of this exact same team on YouTube, specials don't need to be maxed except maybe gpu, rcv candies on enel help greatly, because you can stall on some stages infinitely. Both RR versions of Jabra and Blueno are VERY good for Tough teams, and the secret boss will either be another slot-slut or that damned Rooster jabra had. Jabra's the best substitution leader with no Lucci, and Blueno is one of the few tough atk boosters with his special.
Legend Jinbei books alone make the fortnight worth running for though.

the internet says 3rd gear is the best unit in the game, but i can't find anything about 2nd gear

unless you're willing to gem raids you have to progress starting from Mihawk -> MChopper -> Garp/Ivankov -> Enel -> BB and from that point you're pretty much ready for the other raids
