IMO the quest variety is fine but they really need to switch back to the Winter Pass format, in which many of the quests had a cumulative progression instead of having to do it all in one game (leading to less people doing stupid things in order to get their quest)
Even better would be making all the quests run off a point system, where they all have three steps of increasing difficulty (like they do right now) with quest completion granting 1/2/3 points respectively. Completing a quest would require you to accumulate 3 points. The values could change but the ones I presented are a clear improvement for the players.

I just want a casual game where I can play a Hero without any stresses or hardships..
This is why I stopped playing on my own to begin with.
I'd get matched with people who are over 4k MMR and pull stuff like proper rotations, dewarding, tp'ing in to counter-dive, choke my farm, etc..
While in my side, everyone is either a rager or completely dumbfounded because the opponent simply outplayed them..
This even in unranked. It's amazing really... the quality of every game these days has just dropped due to the state of the community itself.
I'd rather keep playing with my friends who are 2k-3k MMR and actually have a lay-down simple game without any of those hardships than to go through that stuff every single time.
Maybe I'll just stop playing the game as a whole.. This lesson tonight served to remind me of the crushing feeling I get every time I gaze upon the state of the DOTA community in this day and age..

I'm not really much of a type to random in my pick. Since there are some Heroes that I absolutely refuse and will never play.
That would just ruin my enjoyment from the very beginning if I were to get one of them in the random roll..
I doubt I will quit though... but usually whenever this sort of thing happens I just tend to take some time away from the game and eventually return some weeks after or something..
I should quit though, because if I am wasting my time with something I no longer find any enjoyment on, than what exactly am I doing there?

if you want to play a RPG, you can try realm of chaos. It's probably the most complex custom game in dota 2, but the learning curve is really high because there aren't really instructions and the english translation sucks. You can find youtube videos or guides that can take you through part of the game though. Expect to spend 1-2 hours per run. It gets boring after a while though because of how repetitive it is (you do the same thing every run. you just try to optimize it/get further).

No. You just recalibrate based off of your unranked MMR, so there's no point unless your unranked mmr is significantly higher than your ranked. Also international ranked is worse for solo queue since you can queue against 3 stacks and 5 stacks.
