That's not how it works? Crit roll is made once per cast, not per hit. You don't get X crit rolls per second because you have X BV stacks. So you're not going to hit and crit "all the time," otherwise what would be the point of going crit BV in the first place?
How many times can you hit and crit per second vs single target? Now divide that by 4. 25% is not "reliable" in a world where 100% exists and can be maximized around as a Trickster.

But, if you use Rallying Cry, then cast the totem, the totem does get the damage increase because totem counts all your active buffs, which just means you can't slap a totem down then RC and expect the totem to increase its damage despite what the tooltip says. You would have to recast the totem again.

This is NOT correct and I have no idea how this misconception still exists to this day. Totems use your skills, and if you increase your damage, e.g. with Rallying Cry, then your totems get the updated damage without the need of being recast. They are not, and cannot be snapshotted entities that ignore any changes to your stats the way they've always been programmed. This is easily testable with Rallying Cry, a sulphur flask, Atziri's Promise, frenzy charges, etc. etc. There is NO need to unload all your buffs at once THEN cast your totems, which would lead to an incredibly shitty playstyle.

honestly i think i've only sold two or 3 enchants, so that was 3-4 ex total. most of my currency came from straight currency, maps and gems. a few big ticket items like the spectrum gems and some deaths doors. i never found the enchants to be very profitable , this league or last league but the sheer amount of shit you get from those chests makes it worth while, worst case you break even.

They're not even remotely on the same level? Uber Argus is t8 boss that goes down relatively quickly, has no one-shots, only moderately strong attacks, and is easily distracted by a golem or totem and one dimensional form of damage that is easily mitigated/avoided. I can kill him with zero hp flask and one stibnite.
Core Malachai is a t15 boss with the most life of any boss in the game, multiple phases making him hard to be cheesed with vaal skills, multiple one-shot attacks, ignores aggro and ranged elemental attacks that are hard to avoid or mitigate.

Basically i wanted to use doryani's fist somehow and make it useful for attacks. Thought about making it a berserker cycloner (single target) and abyssal cry (aoe).
The plan relied on stacking attack speed, lightning damage, area damage and more modifiers. 40% more from berserker ascendancy, 50% from conc. effect, 40% from elemental overload (crits would come from orb of storms which would also apply elemental weakness and conductivity) and 40% from elemental focus (shocks would come from orb of storms).

Clearing would come from abyssal cry + poison + that chaos damage more modifier gem + added chaos (or inc aoe). Ive tested it before and it cleared fine. Berserker has reduced warcry cooldown which makes it golden.
Cyclone would be cyclone + faster attacks + added lightning + light pen + conc effect + elemental focus. Get lightning damage added to attacks and increased lightning on jewelry.
Im on phone right now so cant inclue skill tree. It has 215% max life, 150% armour, 50something attack speed, almost 200 lightning damage and some area/elemental damage aswell. Only fault is lack of jewel nodes (only 3l).
Cant be bothered to level a marauder to 60 and finish lab three times to test if its good or not.

They always have new skills to use and new things to do, the problem is the new things to do sometimes is sometimes extremely annoying and among the new skills, only one or two are decent enough to make a build around without gimping yourself.

you only get like 4/4 frames/weapons slots starting out, you need to eventually get at least 6/10 later, but this means you'd have to keep deleting weapons after you max them to get new ones.

I don't have a good grasp on how mods like this translate through various effects. Would this apply to SRS kills cast through Totems? SRS is a "Spell" by definition but it's also killing by proxy so would it benefit from that mod?

No, srs doesn't benefit from things that increase spell damage, because the "spell" you're casting is a summon spell that deals 0 damage. From then on you're talking about the minions that you summoned, who are also melee.
Additionally, by that same branch of logic, heartbreaker won't work on your minions it seems.
