I bought SFV recently and just got done with her trials and she seems very fun, but I'm not sure of what buttons I should be pressing. Every match online is me trying to jump in with HP, crouch HP into the ass strike or MP into ass strike, I don't know any footsies or how to anti air. P command throw does more damage and has more range but switches sides (which is undesirable if you are pressuring them in the corner) and throws them too far to do anything (unless you have your back to the corner)
K command throw allows you to get oki (which is chinese for fucking them up when they are on the ground and getting up) by dashing right after. If you dash after K command grab, you are +2, which means you can press a button or do a grab and they have to guess or DP, they can't press buttons to beat it.
Watch Fuudo play, there's much more to playing her than this and that's a good way to learn.

The thing about Mika is everyone says she's crazy, cheap etc. but she's at her best if you play composed and calm and then work the craziness into that rather than just jumping around and trying to clap everything.
F. mk, charge drop kick and cr. hp are all good pokes, the heavier ones need to be spaced and try not to abuse them because if people catch on they can bait and punish them.

be patient mika is all about picking your spots and running a train on someone
whiff f+mp into f+mp and it'll combo if it hits but it wont if it whiffs, if they block it you'll get punished
patience is key
cr.hp is great if you space it well its +1 on block, but even if its 0 you have a 3f jab up close so it works, and it has a ton of active frames with a good hitbox and the priority system favors heavy attacks, so it can beat out a lot of stuff
use her st.mk to poke away. f+mk, b+mk, regular mk. its a good little poke to check people.
charge st.hk when you think you can catch them sleeping. good on hit, good on block, but vulnerable to getting stuffed if theyre ready for it.
cr.mp is a great anti-air
difference between her throws is that one tosses them backwards and does more damage, the other keeps them in the corner and does less damage. which you use depends on your positioning. a lot of mika resets in the corner can put mika in the corner herself so using the command throw that tosses them behind mika can help you recorner your opponent
