i'm disappointed, but at the same time kind of tired of splatfests. they really came down to just a day to farm for sea snails more than bringing the community together and the vanilla splatoon mode gets tiring after a few hours, especially in the amount of time it takes to reach queen/king status. The last few were also pretty boring, (SUMMER OR WINTER, NIGHT OWL OR DAY) I missed the last few with no real regrets for it. I'll be fighting in this one though, and looking forward to a full blown waifu war.

Seriously, nobody hated that final boss. You can talk shit about them reusing maps, but again it's so you can learn them for the multiplayer you're about to play. Sorry I like actually having SOME challenge. But I guess in this era where people are pleased with the game either giving them permanent invulnerability (Mario) or outright skipping the level (Donkey Kong), they were in the right to make it so easy to please the masses.
