Switch characters around a lot. Don't play the same character 2 rounds in a row. A full round should be about long enough to start getting into the "habit" of playing that character. Ignore your "mains". Play shit completely out of your comfort zone, even if it makes you look like a shitter.
Obviously, don't do this in ranked, and don't pay any mind to butthurt people.

That said it's an alright MOBA, it's kind of like Smite arena. It will entertain the League crowd for sure. I wish there was a FPS version of it because the mechanics are pretty good but I doubt we'll ever get a version without ults/turrets/healers/shields/stuns/etc.

There's no measure of 'skill' beyond being able to win. Beyond that, who is to say what stat is worth more? Is objective time better than damage? How much damage with worth objective time. If it's giving more points to gold/silver/bronze medals, does a gold with 1 more damage than silver give the same as gold with 1000 more damage? Is damaging rein's shield the same as damaging rein himself?
Grading based off winning is the only good system.

I hate to say it, but I think League does the ranking system better. A straight up number slider from 1 to 100 is too simplistic, there's just too little gradation.
There's a reason ELO goes from 1-2400, and League puts you into divisions that you can't drop out of once you've reached them unless you just don't play for like six months.

Alright you fucking retards i'm tired of hearing you be wrong so I'm going to explain some shit to you:
Your placement games barely fucking matter. You start off at a certain rank depending on your hidden MMR from casual play and then your 10 placement are just slightly more heavily weighted games to help calibrate your final rank. That is why 6 stacks can all calibrate at different ranks. it has nothing to do with individual performance. Calibration games will not magically bring someone who belongs at rank 60 all the way down to rank 40. likewise, they won't magically enable some shitter to be carried from 40 to 60 because they got lucky in placements. People aren't a higher rank than you because they 'got carried', they were going to be placed higher than you no matter what because they are better than you, and the system already knew that from their hidden MMR.

Right now everyone is unranked, which means that you don't get anything for beating them, and you lose a lot if you lose to them, so you will artificially lower your rank for no reason. In volskaya it was like each team had a set amount of "attack time" that runs down, so you would take turns and whoever was consistantly faster to take the two points eventually won. That shit took 25 minutes.
