So I'm on the downgrading part of the 3DS thing and it got an error midway. Settings says 9.2.0 so it's a partial downgrade.
Firstly, the 3DS refuses to start unless the sd is out, at which point it starts and I insert the sd just fine. I have to access homebrew via browserhax every time. Then, in plaisys, it has frozen on Hax Init more than 20 times. I'm not doing anything wrong am I? Shall I just continue trying? Using a n3DS for clarity.

I sort of had your problem; I went through the whole guide with N3DS as well. If you can get to the homebrew menu, go ahead and set up Menuhax the way it tells you to from Step 10 of Part 1 in the guide.
As for the Hax Init, I too had it error midway, but the second time I did it it worked. I don't know if it was luck of the draw, but that was the last time anything errored the entire rest of the way.
I didn't have any problem with booting with an SD card after the error though, so something else might also be a problem.

As far as I know its comparable to a CFW like you know from PSP. So its kinda installed on the 3DS, which also means if you fuck it up while installing you have a bricked 3DS.

I'm having a weird problem with my o3DS, hoping someone can help me.
I've been hacked with A9LH for a while now and never had any problems but I was just installing a few CIAs and after I installed one (VC version of SMB2) Big Blue said that the install had failed because it was a faulty CIA. It started giving me that message for everything I installed after.
After I closed Big Blue, all of the software I have installed on my SD is invisible on the home screen. Nothing seems to be deleted because everything is still listed in the software list inside of the settings. I'm not able to access or launch any of it though.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is my SD fucked? It's a nice one and fairly new.

I'm trying to load up N64 VC titles via Loadiine, I have them all extracted and given them a fake ID and they show up in the launcher but they aren't actually able to launch. I've followed the following directions:

I can see "Emu" in front of the my version number "Emu 9.1.0-20". but if I exit and re enter "System Settings", The word "Emu" goes disappear, it only displayed as "Ver. 9.1.0-20J".
