How do you write dialogue for characters without sounding like it's always just the writer pretending to be the characters? Is there a guide or some tips and tricks somewhere? I'm really worried that people will think all my character dialogue is too samey. Am I worrying too much?

The most common complaint I've seen is the colors used and how overly shiny their space suits are.

Oh, and one thing to keep in mind, I'd try to avoid the lines in the first picture. Try to use one line instead of several. It looks like you did some chicken scratchy stuff in a few places and it doesn't come out well in majority of art forms.
