Best bet is for Nintendo to go all out and establish a reason to own the NX early, with prominent Nintendo and third party exclusives. This could mean paying PlatinumGames, Capcom, SE, Sega, and a few other prominent Japanese studios/publishers for an exclusive each, even if it means taking over publishing duties to secure exclusivity (ie the Bayonetta 2 situation). That way they can at least re-establish themselves in the East.
As for the prominent western studios? They're a lost cause. There is no way that Ubisoft, Activision or Take-Two will put forward exctensive development time given the risk of developing for one platform. ZombiU was the last prominent exclusive Ubisoft made, and it was a disaster (mostly due to fuck ups in development) coupled with low as fuck WiiU attach rates in the first year. They won't risk that even with the PS4, nowadays.

Also one last thing before this general is dead, Hyrule Warriors Legends runs the same on 3DS as if it was running in 3D on N3DS imo.
on a regular 3DS the 3D effect doesn't work, but even then why would you want that when it was just tacked on?

I have a really good geoteck controller for my WiiU that works as a WiiU pro controller but also has a switch on the back so you can set it to work as a Wii Pro Controller. This is a really handy feature but unfortunately one of its sticks is kinda wonky and registers inputs where there are none. I cracked it open and think I've fixed it but it's likely to break again at some point.
Geoteck no longer make WiiU controllers so I can't find any more of these to purchase.
Does anyone know of another 3rd party controller with similar functionality? It isn't necessary and I could obviously just buy some 3rd party Wii U pro controller, but it'd be nice to be able to use it with the Wii as well since it's kinda annoying having to have the wiimote attached to the pro controller on the wii.

I'm sending i my n3dsxl for repair of the top screen.
The instructions nintendo sent are telling me to send the microsd card with the system. The 32gb sd card has been softmodded for a custom theme during the whole tubehax event.
Am I going to lose that theme? Should I replace it with a default theme? I don't know if there's a new softmod for themes available.

they'll definitely take the theme off, but if you paid for the repair yourself they can't deny it to you because you have homebrew files on your sd card. if you're really worried, just change the theme beforehand and clean up any relevant files on the sd. there's no way to install custom themes on 11.0 without an exploit game, and none of them are free like youtube or ironfall.

So, I started playing SMT IV the other night.
Haven't fought my first demon yet, but I'm really impressed with how far the 3D has come, and that they're using it in interesting ways, even in the visual novel-esque parts of the game.
