It's honestly personal preference.
DET is awful and should be avoided, but the slight bonus is there if you want it.
CRIT is good.
PIE is good but unnecessary given the fuckton of MP regeneration AST has.

Honestly the current stage isn't so bad. It's pretty grindy, but sands are easy as fuck to get due to the myriad avenues you can take to obtain them.
Umbrites are easy as hell to - you can get at least one per day if you're lazy about it and only do some roulettes. I'm pretty sure that doing all but your MSQ roulette each day nets you well over 400 Esoterics, and since Umbrite only costs 300 each...

Seems more than likely, apparently during that era Lalafell made up a very large portion of Eorzean society considering midlanders hadn't begun their great migrations to the continent yet. There were definitely Lalas in the Nymian military, I just think it's silly to say, "No, every Tonberry is a Lala." Tonberries are an iconic monster in Final Fantasy and they just put them in the game with some interesting backstory. Them all being the same small stature is just staying true to that image. All I do is MSQ and do daily dungeon tomes shit and I've only leveled a couple jobs and I've played for over a year.
I haven't attempted any actually difficult content in ages, finding groups takes too much effort.
I struggle to figure out how so many of my friends seem to be always sitting and doing nothing but have every job leveled and raid and complete all the hardest content,. I never get anything done.

dots in this game tick every 3 seconds, and bio ticks for 40 potency, so a target would need to live for 6 seconds for bio to be the same potency as ruin, and after 9 seconds it's better

No, the gears required for lore weapons. I've got my BLM all geared up but am now close to capping lore. Thinking about spending it on some stuff for my other classes. Typically weapons are the first thing to invest in, but since it'll take a few weeks to get the gears needed for the high capacity tomestone, I won't bother just now and upgrade armor instead.
