I played ~500 LoL games from 2011-2013 with friends so I'm not completely unfamiliar with this game but I don't know anything about the personalities. This game is a bore.
I know ">opinions" but as an outsider this is one of the worst games to spectate. It's CSing for 15 mintues and then a team fight or two to determine who will inevitably win the game with the same champions that Riot chose to cycle this month as the top tier champions. It feels like there's no actual strategy or variation at all to this game.

Unless you're playing Lucian, you're diving or using him in a teamfight the likelihood of Braum landing Q and ADC following up all three shots is low.
If he didn't have his shield there would be no reason to pick him. And his shield only affects projectiles not all abilities.
Braums mobility is tied to the closest allied object. His mobility is not bullshit.

League of Legends General is a fascinating thread chain on /vg/ that seemingly follows a very specific set of "stages" per thread. While variations and mutations of these stages can occur, the following is more often than not an accurate prediction of how a thread will develop.
STAGE 1: THE BIRTH
Stage 1 usually takes place within the first hundred or so posts. It's an exciting time in a thread, as it is a fresh start! This is the most common time when you will find posts that are:
- Memes (THE PLEASURE OF BEING CUMMED INSIDE)
- Waifushit (xth for Diana)
- Teamjerking (TSMEN WW@)
STAGE 2: THE MELLOWING
In this stage, the memes and other parts of Stage 1 become less prevalent. Typically, it is possible to see frustrations arise as some anons decide to continue with Stage 1 posts despite the thread clearly being in a Stage 2 state. Posts in a Stage 2 thread include:
- Avatarfag circlejerking
- Balance discussion (read: complaints)
- Lewds
STAGE 3: THE DEPRESSION
At this Stage (typically the 500 post mark), most anons have realised that the thread has played out largely the same way as the other threads have. /lolgen/ is a fickle beast. It is hard to read and harder to live with, but come to understand it and you can drown out the worst parts it offers you. Give it space and time, and contribute to it during Stage 3 for a more sane and more enjoyable League of Legends discussion.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the pieces and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don"t even think that"s a word. After she scanned each piece and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I just played a game as jungle karma, spoonfed our Yorick mid lane (lane swapped w/ Ahri) with five kills in around seven minutes.
I went to gank bot lane one time at about five minutes in, and our Caitlyn just stood there farming minions.
I decided what the fuck's the point in ganking if the carry will just farm, so I ignored the lane.
Only two minutes later the Janna complains about having "no ganks" in which I said "Caitlyn didn't do anything when I came down..."
Yorick, Ahri, Janna and Caitlyn ALL then decided to blame the whole failure of the game on Karma who had fed Yorick a total of seven kills in lane phase.
So I just played a 35 minute game as a very non-meta jungle champion which was actually very successful, but I was trolled the entire time because I was so fucking depressed with this team.
Caitlyn who does nothing when I gank, and caused this shit.
Janna who complains about my gank when it wasn't even me who fucked up, it was Caitlyn.
Ahri who just throws the fucking game and gets pissed off and wants to give up because they're "not having fun".
Yorick who trolls me for twenty-five minutes straight by being an under-appreciative dickhead and directly blaming me and only me (the fucking jungle Karma that fed him over half of his kills and basically carried the fucking game) for us beginning to lose.
I asked him why he had to be such a dickhead. It's apparently because I was ruining his game. I don't know how. I fed him that many kills so quickly he snowballed out of control, but he acted like I had no part in that, or anything at all.
After I almost died to Akali we started talking a bit and I asked her if she could report Yorick for trolling the entire game and making it (in my own words) "the most depressing game I've played in a while"; in which their Teemo just started abusing me for having "no life".

At some point, with every game that is online and keeps bringing you back, I get to a point where I'm only playing the game because I feel like I have nothing else to be doing. Gunbound, Ragnarok Online (though this is mostly due to all my old buddies leaving and no good servers around anymore), Team Fortress 2... they all eventually became unfun, yet I kept playing until I realized that fact. I'm not having fun?
It feels like League is reaching that point. Hell, it's probably been at that point for quite awhile. The people that got me into the game, my buddies that were playing it before I started, all of the people I met along the way... most of them have quit. I'd say 80% of my games right now are solo queued. And how many of those matches are... fun?
I realized something today. Even in the lanes I was winning by a significant margin, something small, minor, on the other side of the map would just set me off. Stupid shit that I wouldn't have cared about at all 2 years ago. I would have just keep playing the game and tried to win.
When did I become such a bitter, spiteful person? Where did this past year even go? In less than 2 months, it will have been an entire year since we got new janitors and the whole avatar thing mostly died out. A year? Where the fuck did an ENTIRE year go without me noticing?
I think the only thing that has kept me even remotely interested in League is the characters. The personalities, mostly. Jarvan? Graves? Irelia? Ashe? I love those guys. I wish Riot did more animated shorts too. I mean, hell, I can't be the only one.
I remember when I would wake up, and instantly start watching a stream, or go to YouTube and see if GeneralWiser had anything new up to watch. I remember being enthusiastic about playing. When it didn't seem like a chore.
In S2, I thought maybe things would be better in S3. Now S3 is almost over and I started to feel the same way about S4. I won't let that happen again.

You have regen from warmog's (very strong one), masteries and runes. Also Q heals you like a free potion and RoA's passive heals you a bit every time you cast a spell, so W's hp cost hurts less. A lot of flat AP and HP means you can be closer to the center of a teamfight and survive longer and heal your adc more. 2) STDs would not be a problem for 2 people that abstained. STDs would cease to exist almost entirely if everyone abstained.
3) Healthier relationships, less broken families, stronger morals, etc. which has a host of benefits all on its own.
