A robobrain Vault murder mystery and some more general lore history.

Luck is a dump stat outside of extremely heavy investment. Idiot Savant is debatable, but really not that important. If you don't plan on using VATS feel free to ignore luck entirely. Fortune Finder and Scrounger require a total of 2 Luck, which is the minimum possible plus the bobblehead.

Considering all the supermutants it feels like the Institute abducted half the commonwealth's population for it's FEV project. And it never dawned on them to simply build new settlements entirely populated by synths to do their farming experiments instead of abducting farmers to introduce "tatos" and "razorgrain" to the commonwealth.

At lvl 60+ you can start investing in it to basically make the game play itself.

If you learn to tab out of VATS after you finish a hit you can clear entire dungeons in a minute.

It's biggest issue is the feel of the game, sometimes it feels extremely polished and smooth and others blatantly left out (the entirety of the Gunners faction for one). The settlements are the comfiest. Especially the lumber mill. Easy to build on, there is a barn that can be rebuilt very nicely, a good amount of space, nice setting with the lake in behind it. The only settlement that's half as nice as the lumber mill is maybe Starlight Drive-In. That said, I fucking HATE the visitor center, I've had multi-wave attacks by every creature on the island there, not to mention the initial fighting off of trappers who all carried harpoon guns. Fuck that place.
I would say Coastal Cottage, which is hard to build on but has VIEWS (only a sky castle/airship or tower at Abernathy or the lighthouse has comparable views), except my coastal cottage settlement tends to get attacked by high level enemies which pretty much negates all comfy.

Jamaica Plain is actually okay, you can walk straight into Boston once you clear out the enemies outside DB High School and the Combat Zone.

Because guns and gun repair in FO3 & FO NV was broken.
Fix a gun that looses 30% of it's "durability" after 150 shots by "Merging" parts with another gun, 30 guns with reloading animations that never required skill practice and there were never any jams or fumbles.
FO4 allows you to mod your weapons with any number of mod improvments.
Armor was fixed too.

Nope, it dumps you out to the main menu, and since the modded save overrides the unmodded one you MUST remove the offending mod to regain access to gameplay with that save.
The best part is how compact the code is and how it can be hidden anywhere in any script, as many times as you like
If you want to harden it against removal, you can even make multiple 'U STOELD IT!' messages and have several different variations of the code each calling a different one, so that if the thief only removes one message but not the others, they will still trip the other ones.

Alright, Made a lot of progress on that monster overhaul mod. Was gonna go to CEO but I got lazy, don't wanna drive to Orlando. Besides, Infil's gonna win anyways.
I digress, so far this WIP mod adds
- Two Horned Savage (Brutal) deathclaws, baby deathclaws, albino alpha deathclaws and glowing matriarchs. Retextures Mythic deathclaws to look like Deathclaws in NV and FO3.
- All Deathclaws have their stats buffed and unique abilities added, like claws that deal bleeding damage. More unleveled deathclaws.
- Deathclaw Loot system reworked, now they drop a bigger variety of materials and body parts that can be made into weapons with special effects.
I might add something that makes deathclaws spawn in groups more often, but that seems like it might be counterproductive. Any suggestions are 100% welcome.
Meanwhile I'll work on revamping Mirelurks. Man, I fucking suck with screenshots.

I don't know much about settlement mods, but I just found out last night that my Sanctuary Pre-war home interferes with Wasteland workshop 01. Now I can no longer build capture cages or anything added in that DLC. Existing structures are still there.
Is there a mod I can use to circumvent this? Or do I have to remove my pre-war house mod / edit it in CK so it doesn't fuck with the cages?
Also for anyone that uses Manufacturing extended, have you ever gotten the Power armor forge to work correctly? I kept trying to make X-01 helmets and it would only let me make the torso. And sometimes it would take fucking forever just to get started. Too many resources dumped into the machine?

Are there any mods out there that fix optimization and make FO4 run better on lower end PCs? My PC should be able to play FO4 at smoothly at medium settings but for some reason it runs kinda shitty even with most options set to low.

Why do people complain about skimpy clothing so much? In a gunfight it doesn't matter how much clothing you're wearing... haven't you ever seen a vietnam movie? On top of that skimpy clothes have existed in the fallout series before. Raider armor has traditionally been pretty skimpy. One of my favorite pieces of clothing has always been raider badlands armor because I just like the look of it.
There's plenty of non-armored clothing in fallout that people have their characters wear that wouldn't protect you from a bullet any more than skimpier clothes would.
