Help me decide, /feg/. I'm thinking of possible builds for my next Conquest playthrough and I'm wondering between +Mag/- Lck Cav and +Str/-Lck Samurai.
Samurai sounds good since you can't get it naturally in Conquest (unless you marry Odin iirc) but I had a better time early game with +Mag than +Str and I usually have more Spd as the former. Plus I want to marry Camilla again and Master of Arms don't sound that good for her, at least in terms of skills since it does give her her bulk while keeping her Axe rank. Also I'm quite skeptical about dodgetanking.
+Mag Pally sounds good and Camilla would probably like GK to give her more bulk (+ Armoured Blow) as well as training her Lance rank to end as a WL. However, I usually hear people recommending picking a Hoshidan class for Conquest and vice versa for Birthright, so I don't know if it's "wasteful" to pick a Nohrian class for Conquest.

Samurai is probably the best possible class for Kamui, it doesn't matter if +STR or +SPD, he is also your only dodge tanking option of the game. Dodge tanking is of course amazing, like in most FE games, you have pretty good physical walls in Nohr already so there is no need to be bulky at all.

I think Camilla gets by pretty well. The classes she has available to her covers a lot of ground already, Malig Knight and Wyvern Lord skills are pretty decent. Even better, she can friend seal Beruka to get Axefaire and Sol. So at the end, she has something like Axefaire, Swordbreaker, Sol, Savage Blow, Trample. You could even put in HP+5 for savage blow, since her HP tends to be lower for a tank, 50% growth rate in WL, or even Gamble.
If you really want a Hoshidan talent that might help her, Blacksmith might help, with +20% to hp and 15% to defence (Wyvern Lord is 10% hp 20% defence). The problem is Blacksmith skills are lackluster for Camilla, and you might want the Oni Chieftain's skills instead. Oni Chieftain's growths aren't bad for Camilla, although Blacksmith and Wyvern Lord are clearly superior.

It's that guy's first run in Conquest, I don't think it's the wisest idea to waste a reclass just for a couple of abilities while Camilla is completely fine and a monster like this already. He would do better use his second seals on something that needs it more or that doesn't hinder the class too much. Experiments can come later in a second run.

For the first time on Conquest I really really want to use the DLC to grind.
I played a bit of Revelations before Conquest and thought that the Wind Tribe map was fucking retarded, so I dropped it. Knowing that this shit is also in Conquest disgusts me.
And the map may not be hard or anything, but the gimmick is so annoying that I would just grind to destroy everyone in seconds.
I wouldn't do it, though, but c'mon.

I think they deliberately made it so that choosing Birthright results in more personally painful losses for Corrin. Like, this is the right path and you're on the side of justice, but the people you lose were some of the people who were closest to you. In contrast, in Conquest you're meant to feel bad for the deaths of the people on the BR side because you know them to be good people, and not because they have super big attachments and history with Corrin.
