Played a bunch of matches with my friend against/with the same pugs, teams switched a bit between but mostly the same people. I played Mercy the whole time and even got a potg for a good res. Was on fire a bunch, saved people, basically rocked it.

When I encounter a Dva, regardless of what class I am, I feel like I can kill her extremely easily. Just step back a few steps and get shooting, while hopping around.
This is not the case for the other tanks.
Her damage is very low, for it to be decent you have to get get up close, but she walks so slowly it is extremely easy for enemies to escape or get in a range where you can't do damage and proceed to reck your shit.

I just checked the 1080 and NVidia has on their site that 94 is the max temp. Assuming he's running 1080p and using 150% scaling as he said, having it at 81 is fine.

In seriousness though, if you aren't very good at getting kills then play support a shitload. Over half of the players avoid it like the plague, and it's almost impossible to win without one. If you keep on as Mercy then you'll be the unsung MVP your team needs.

Seems to be the general opinion, but she's my favorite. I don't claim I'm awesome (#2,200ish rank), and I pay on console, but here's what I think
1. Not really a main tank, works best with another
2. Great for covering perimeters
3. The boosters don't do a lot of damage, but they're the best thing against the slow walk thing. Her deflector shield is more offensive: shield, booster toward your baddie, knock them flying to disputing them, and then unload infinite ammo into their face. Works great against Reinhardt.
4. Good for killing turrets, Symmetra clusters a specialty
5. Need to be more of a team player, also a bit adaptive
6. Work with Reinhardt on your team. Slow matching work infinite ammo behind his shield is not nothing. Also your deflector can protect his back, deflect snipers and cover him when his shield breaks is on cool down. I usually sit on the payload with him and just waste everything that comes near
I wish she had some kind of secondary fire, like a big laser or something.

The matchmaking has no idea which hero anyone will pick. I know for a fact that after being give, six quips with a favored hero, I've got bored and decided to have a go with Tracer or someone I don't play much. I guess in those matches I've been paved with and against higher ranked players, who can reasonably expect I'm decent. Then I suck all over the place before I blink into a teleporter, and zip over the precipice on ilios, which I've done.
Pharah has the worst ult in the game. They need to give her invulnerability during it to make it even slightly decent.
Roadhog's is terrible but it at least pushes people back. Pharah's is the equivalent of increasing her DPS by a marginal amount while becoming an easy-kill target.

This is what I'm trying to say:
Many players in these threads tell stories of how their games went to shit after doing well
Before they were on competent teams and preforming well because of it, whether or not they were carried
After a noticeably positive streak, they report being put into unwinnable games with people on their team not close to their skill level
Such examples I've heard and experienced: I went lucio/mercy and got gold eliminations and damage during a drawn out stomp, I saw my teammates missing the overwhelming majority of their shots, my team would usually 1v6 and basically become ulti food, I got many gold medals even though I played a hero I know I'm shit at.
The mmr system's explanation implied you'd be placed on teams with and against higher skill, not be expected to carry.
How can anyone explain this without mentioning forced 50?
