Bastion in an unpredictable position that will move to ambush, can shred through her shield and her in no time. Reaper dropping on her right after personal shield shreds through her, a Zenyatta slapping a discord orb on her helps a lot. Yes her shield gets rid of it but her shield has a cool down time and your orb doesn't. Best strategy is to isolate her from her team, like any tank away from their team and focused by yours they go down.

I think the revive happening at the end of her animation would be a step in the right direction toward fixing it. It's dumb that you revive people at full fucking health the second you press Q, there's very little you can do to prevent it other than killing the Mercy before she can actually do it (which isn't a real counter).

Pharahs and Junkrats are too reliable for gaining charge, their projectile weapons make it easy for any decent Zarya to farm for energy. True her ult can drop her but that doesn't help the overall match with dropping her once in a while. Winstons and Torbs are also horrible to have against her, Winstons never stop firing when they engage and Torb turrets never stop firing at their target.

in close is a good place to be when facing Zarya, at medium range she can keep her face melting laser on you easily. Reaper is easily the best way to kill her, just like any tank, but a pharah that can get direct hits can kill her easily without much coming back in retribution.
Still the best way to kill a Zarya is to outnumber her. She can't deflect sustained fire.

Game just got to DH and everyone got kicked out in the middle of grand finals because the matches went on too long (and they were playing traditional 6v6, the fastest format). Mei can also deal with Zarya pretty well if she can keep away from the laser, even after the bubble resets her freeze rate it comes back fast enough that she can get frozen again anyway, not to mention the m2's can fuck Zarya up at range, just like anyone else.

I get you on the Reaper thing, what I've normally encountered against him is they'll get cold feet at the last second or so, but any decent Reaper player can and will tear through her. As for Mei it depends on the charge, with enough you can force her into the ice heal and get your shield back in time to finish the job.

Reaper should be moving to behind the enemy team while they're busy with your main force, and attack from behind.

When you play with groups it basically throws any skill balance out the window in favor of matching you against other groups.
It's a complete shitshow. Even worse is when you do incomplete groups, because then you get randoms that aren't communicating, and are any range of skill (usually ASS).
