I guess that is one way to deal with that. For some reason it's not as thrilling to me desu. I remember logging on dayzmod a couple years back only to find my character kitted out with a infrared l85 and the message " you survived for 450 days" or some shit. There's a certain romanticism to that.

I don't quite know how to feel about the new UI /dzg/. It is generally nicer but there seems to be delays when trying to put items on the hotbar and I'm pretty sure my rags popped off the bar when I combined two stacks. It also seemed a tad unresponsive/slow when trying to scroll through my inventory. I hate how we now have to drag clothes over what we already had equipped to changes clothes instead of just dragging onto the middle frame. For some reason I also couldn't equip items directly from my inventory.
Are these "normal" issues or could this have just been lag spikes on the server?

I quite like hanging around the northern cliffs and rock formations and such. Might not be the best hiding places, but shit's comfy as fuck.
I'm hoping that once they eventually get the NBC suits and "radiation zones" implemented there will be larger areas (as in not just a military base) that require protection to survive in. Living in the zone air filter to air filter scavenging off dead scrubs who couldn't into preparation would be the shit.
I hope that after they implement the "radiation zones" they decide to make more areas of the map have gear requirements, such as a high snowy mountain range that requires warm clothes to not freeze to death.It's weird how we have winter hunting pants but literally no snow anywhere ever
