all control for servers has been moved to the external console for the most part.

During the mod I was doing a PvE Epoch server 90% of the time building and supplying my base while trading with others. High end loot isn't really a huge concern of mine.

I miss mod tho, could get a gun fast and you felt more in control of what was going on. Zombies were an after thought unless you were getting into a huge fight in the middle of a city when you could get swarmed. Too few zombies now and finding a gun AND ammo is a pain. It's why I really want to see servers with massively upped spawn rates and/or custom spawn ins to get things rolling fast.
Innawoods is comfy tho.

Although the removal of global chat was a good move, it's much harder to meet people in game without getting shot. From what I've run into it's either CoD shitters or RP people who take the game way too seriously. I shouldn't be surprised I'm not running into too many people with the same playstyle as me, since I'm the innawoods/hoard loot/spot and avoid players type.If it wasn't for global chat in the mod I wouldn't know over half of the people I played the dayz mod with

What I was talking about was the engravings on the gun itself. It had been awhile since I last played and I don't think I ever noticed it before. After some Googling I've discovered that I am in fact retarded, and that the engravings have been there the whole time.
