I'm swimming in work right now, maybe by the end of the week I'll be free to really start working on the TL and to play some botes finally.
so I went down to Bogue to try out DBs. I gotta say, I'm pleasantly surprised. Went 24 TBs and 15 DBs, and used the DBs to spot for the TBs. I actually sunk the DD twice (TDM) with DBs, and the guy was both using AA and maneuvering. then DB'd the Hosho and it caught fire, it would've burned to death had my DD and CL not charged in and died granting the enemy team the last two kills. No commanders used btw, none at all.
considering I also used TBs, it's moments like this that really make me wish each weapon was recorded separately. Instead of just "shots fired" and "shots on target" it'd be nice if it were "Main arty shells fired" ,"Main arty shells on target", "bombs dropped", etc.

eh It's kinda like TBs in the sense you gotta predict where they'll be, I put two bombs out of 3 into an Atlanta same way I would have predicted torps. that being said, the things need to be made faster, they have the same speed and maneuverability as TBs. IRL they were faster and flew way higher making them very hard to hit, more speed and better HP would make them more viable. Wanted to try them on Indy but it really sucks that the highest Indy can get is the base tier IV DBs, while TBs go up to tier VI level. Still no commanders btw, maybe if I had them I could've put all 3 bombs on target.
