Guilting really isn't that bad. You can easily grind 63 for anything not a blue duck and it's self-sufficient since you get Munny medals from it as well. Then you just wait the week for the evo medals and you're fine. I have like seven or eight Guilted medals and I'm F2P on top of maybe 10 or so 6* medals and I'm working on Guilting another six medals.

If you just want the completely fused medal with full guilt, you need 7 Meow Wows and 2 each of Sora and Riku. Get each Riku and Sora to 6* and leave them there, also evolve and fuse the various Meow Wows until they're 6* and you have two of them: one of them with 3 dots, the other with 2 dots. You'll have six medals lying around at this point (two of each).
Once the fused medal is accessible, use each of the Meow Wows as a base, and add a Riku and Sora to each of them. You'll have two fused medals, one with 3 dots and the other with 2. Then finally combine those two together and you'll have a single medal with 5 dots and guilt.

Brief overview for dotting Meow Wows:
At 3*, combine pairs until you have four medals: 3 with 1 dot, 1 with no dot.
At 4*, combine the dotless one with one of the other ones to receive a 2 dot. That will give you three total (1 dot X2, 2 dot X1)
At 5*, combine the two with 1 dot to receive a single with 3 dots. Then evolve all of them to 6* and you'll be set for the fusion is made accessible.

The ability itself is alright. 3x Single target multiplier + heal for 3 gauges. Not bad but not amazing either. But the best part about it is the Guilt, 40-100% is great for a free medal. Other free medals have 10-25%. You have to put in some effort to get it, but you don't have to spend loads of money to guilt it (or waste Mickey and Brooms, but those aren't out in NA anyway).

It's frustrating as the KH style battle system in early FFXV looked pretty fun whereas the jack-of-all-trades system in it now looks unpolished as fuck and wasn't all that fun in the demo.
It's a shame he's so reliant on his team so he couldn't really split away from Square Enix. He's seriously talented as a producer.
Say what you will about KH, but there's a massive amount of care and attention put into them. I don't think there are any GBA games with the polish of CoM.

In KH, at the same time Sora became a Heartless Roxas was born and entered the Organization. So if that's the case, at that point in time at Castle Oblivion Sora used a Keyblade while at the same time Roxas would have been using a Keyblade. Was this Sora's Keyblade? Within the Organization I think we particularly saw Roxas using a Keyblade. And similar to Roxas, Sora served as another Keyblade Master conveniently gathering hearts. So why was the Organization defeated?
The Keyblade that Roxas used and the thing that Sora once lost in Castle Oblivion are the same thing. Furthermore, these two both used the Keyblade at the same time. This is can be explained by the relationship between Roxas and Sora. Thus, that both can wield two Keyblades in fact has an important meaning. This is also related to Xehanort's memories, but this point can't be touched on just yet.
Furthermore, from the time that the two were both using the Keyblade at the same time, the Organization itself was using Sora for their ultimate goal. Soon enough, each of the Organization's expectations differed. By changing Sora and Roxas's movements, eventually they became unable to use Sora for their true meaning. As a result, Sora became an obstacle to the movements of the Organization itself and he had to be defeated. But even if Sora were to be defeated, you could say there are other things to think about in making that sacrifice.

Riku and Sora are worth guilting if you need a hard-hitting single-target Power/Speed medal. Putting them on Olympia also helps mitigate their high cost.

I think it was implied/suggested somewhere that the heartless in X aren't REAL heartless, just "fake" ones created by the book of prophecy. Perhaps as an extension of this, the book of prophecy cannot create hearts, and so they drop lux instead (maybe they're made of lux?).

In the greater scheme it's not that bad and can actually be done very well but that doesn't make it any less lazy. It's the same as the Star Wars text crawl. My Olympia was level 20 at the time, and I think I took a friend's Guilted Wakka. The only bad part was the second or third enemy since it resisted all the reds, but I beat it on turn 2 so it was no biggy. Cloud is +1000 on both stats, 100, and 3 orbs, Limit is 1000 on both stats, 100, and 2 orbs, Riku is 1000 on STR, 100, 3 orbs, and Stitch is 24%, 100 with like 100 in STR.

The Speed ones are great unless you have Kairi, and even then if you don't have DiZ or Vivi you can use that Aerith until you get them to boost damage. Magic Aerith is only really decent if you need a second attack boost on Magic or don't have Vivi.

Up to you. All dots do on boost medals is increase their damage, so if you feel like you'd rather have two attack boosts(They do stack) then you can throw both of them in your deck, but otherwise merge them since it saves space.

It's very simple. It increases the damage multiplier of the special by a bit for every dot, and then Guilting them(That is, having 5 dots on a medal and then putting another of the same on it) increases that multiplier damage even further.

They're damage boosters. It's something like a 1.5% damage boost I think for the buff medals? Either way it's always worth having an attack boost medal right at the start of your deck bare minimum. Only exception is Treasure Trove where it's on the second slot since the first slot gives enough of a bonus to the medal that it's better to just use it to attack and then buff on the one that gives no damage bonus for the next medals. Keep in mind the magic Aerith only buffs magic type medals while the speed one is a general buff that works on all types.
