gas bombs is for area denial or for masking your getaway. try to save them for late game, but don't waste them by dieing before using them.

Is high ping a universally good thing?
I've been playing with Eurofriends a few times in the last couple of days and I find it to be more of a hindrance than anything (@250ish ping). I can't reliably hit anything, I actually have to untrain myself from going for headshots because it just doesn't work, they never register. I have to spray and pray.
At least from personal experience, playing at high ping feels like a crapshoot and like you just toss out a bit of the deterministic qualities you've come to expect from the game out the window, and actually encourages you to play worse than you normally wouldBut maybe that's just me being bad. I haven't learned or tried to harness the power of high ping to my advantage. Even peeker's advantage is shoddy, because they can shoot you where you weren't even at.

Jager if you are going full garrison in a room. Not like it matters, frag grenades used to be common when Thermite had them, post nerf the only ones who have Frags are Sledge, Buck and the Recruit (who only gets one, where everyone else gets 2). That is it. His active defense system is more or less a counter for flash bangs which don't get used as often as they should, as well as Fuze, where it's really helpful. It's very much a "good" operator to have along, but not amazing.
A good roaming Bandit with his nitro with his rape tier MP7, Nitro and some electrified barb wire or electrified deployable cover set up with team mates deploying those things is pretty fucking sweet.
It depends on your team strategy.
